  1. Another possibility I see is the 9000s going to Fairview and the 7100s going to Market St to replace their 40-50 D4000s. However, if Fairview indeed gets some of the 2022 order, then I could see all 2006-2008 MCIs going to Oradell/Market Street (to replace Market Street's D4000s and give more buses to Oradell) until a future order replaces them.
  2. Not sure though. I'm sure they'd be gone from Wayne as I heard they're supposed to get 50 22000s, but I'm not sure if they'd be retired though - maybe transferred to other garages. Oradell previously had 200+ 40 footers, and assuming the remaining 38 NJT 22000s go to Oradell, that's 108 new 45 footers for Oradell, so nowhere close to the number they had before. I wouldn't be surprised if they stay around to help out Oradell/Fairview/Market Street (as all their 40 footers are reaching the 20 year mark), and maybe replaced by the anticipated 172 cruiser bus order or a future order.
  3. Oradell will eventually have 21191-21197, 21301-21302, and 21307-21367 of the 2021 order. 88 of the 2022 order will go to NJT, the remaining 30 to Academy to make up for 21301-21302, and 21307-21334 going to NJT. From what I've heard, 50 of the 88 NJT buses for 2022 are expected to go to Wayne garage.
  4. Hey guys, sorry if this is not the right place to post this. So recently, one of First Transit's ElDorado Axess BRTs (a 2014 model originally assigned to the College of Staten Island) failed inspection, and one of the reasons listed in the inspection report is Frame Integrity. I believe it's slated to transfer to Rutgers University operations, and given we are already having a bus shortage at Rutgers, this would just make things worse. This bus was freshly repainted white recently, so that would mean so much paint was wasted if this bus is indeed done for before seeing any actual service. I feel like First Transit wasn't expecting this either, as otherwise they probably wouldn't have spent the money and efforts on repainting and rehabbing it. It was sitting in storage for a year and a half (along with the other CSI ElDorados) as they didn't run any buses while their campus was closed, so a host of issues could've developed during that time. So my question is, if frame integrity issues come up during inspection, is it pretty much a given that the bus is done for? I know that frame damage in vehicles is still repairable, but given how expensive it is, I doubt First Transit would spend the money towards fixing it. Anyone know of buses that were successfully fixed after frame damage?
  5. According to an email I received from the Rutgers transportation manager, this bus should be arriving in 2023, in year 2 of a multi-year order of new ElDorado Axess buses for Rutgers. Year 1 (2022) will bring 10 40' buses, and years 2-4 (2022-2025) will bring five 40' buses each, with the 45' demo part of year 2 (2023). So chances are, this bus is still just a concept at this point.
  6. Apparently there are no more white rear buses at ADD, so they're probably all at CMF or ready for service now. Oddly there were no buses that came in this weekend. Normally around 1-3 buses would come into the Holiday Inn in South Plainfield on Sunday. I wonder if this may be a sign that the 21000s are all built, and the factory is now transitioning to 22000s...
  7. Any other Rockland 20000s in service, or just 20154 so far?
  8. All old D4500s are retired, NJT and private carrier. As for D4000s, I'm not sure, but at Suburban Transit's yard in New Brunswick, it looks like all of their 2001-03 MCIs have left (unless some are hiding in the back where it's hard to see). Last I checked, most of the 21000s that have not entered service yet are parked towards the back.
  9. 7422, the last 2001-03 D4500, is now retired. Remove all 2001-03 D4500s from the list. New 2021 MCIs at Oradell: 21301-21302, 21307-21308, 21310, 21313, 21315, 21317
  10. EDIT: disregard my previous post. That’s a 40’.
  11. https://instagram.com/stories/enc.bus/2688819074933989319?utm_medium=copy_link Based on this photo from the ENC Instagram, looks like they are prototyping and testing a 45’ Axess BRT now.
  12. 21245 in service as well. From what I've heard, about 5 of Suburban's 21000s are in service.
