  1. At LONG LAST, the LFS HEV order, which started 2 Years Before, is finally done. Now to finish up the Cones for NYCTA, and then commence the delivery of MTA Bus Company's units.
  2. Nice! Some of the last Green Flipdot buses remaining in the Tri-State Area they are.
  3. NJT's XD60s sound better than the ones in the MTA. Here's an audio recording of #20851.
  4. So yesterday, I was at Nungessers, and........ those D4000s are still going strong, saw 5 of them on the 166 and recorded 4.
  5. The R143s have probably the worst brakes out of all of the NTTs in the System........
  6. I saw #8133 Charleston at Metropolitan and Graham Avenues yesterday. I wonder where was it going?
  7. Oh ok. Thought I noticed something a little bit weird in the Engine. P.S., these are some of my first times recording Audio @Cait Sith. I love yours.
  8. This Hybrid sounds like it is on it's last legs (well, they ALL are at this point, some even more so than others). New fleets coming to MTA Bus Company soon, so I'm glad I got to ride one of these OGs again. P.S., anyone got advice for Sound Recordings?

  10. #4444 Kingsbridge is now confirmed retired. An era that dates back to 1993 (30 Years) has come to an end for the Bronx Division (MaBSTOA). Only Eastchester (formely NYBS, now MTA Bus Company) operates NGs from the Bronx now.
  11. #9637 Tuskegee to Manhattanville Bus is currently on the M66.
  12. Just 23 remain at Manhattanville (and in Manhattan as a whole, and more than likely at MaBSTOA if #4444 is indeed retired).
  13. Turns out #2472 had a transmission failure, and is INDEED retired. First 2011 Prevost to bite the dust.
  14. #2472 Ulmer Park is rumored to be retired, with it's sign and OMNY pad stripped. Unit has not run since July 1st of last year. Waiting for confirmation or rebuttal.
  15. #4444 (Quadruple 4s) the last NG left at Kingsbridge right now, and the last non-Eastchester NG remaining in the Bronx.
  16. And just like that, Quill's 15 year era of NGs will come to a close.
  17. #4126 from Michael J. Quill (MaBSTOA/NYCTA) to LaGuardia (MTA Bus) Waiting for confirmation
  18. #3887, #3892, #3936 & #3947 are all retired from Mother Clara Hale That's the end of the Lead Acid NG era in Manhattan (and thus in NYCTA/MaBSTOA) (2008-2023) Only the JFK/Far Rockaway rejects remain now
  19. 4 Lead Acid units I was referring to. This does not include the 20 rejects JFK/Far Rockaway has.
