From a Christmas-theme film in the late '80's that did not do great at the box office. In recent years it has become a Holiday Season Cult classic. Here the theme song to the Bill Murray starring as a modern day Mr. Scoorge in "Scrooged" Annie Lennox and Al Green remake of a 1960's hit Jackie DeShannon song.

"The airport rail link from downtown will take a step forward when construction begins next spring for completion before the 2015 Pan Am Games, Premier Dalton McGuinty said Monday. The line — which piggybacks most of the way on the existing GO Train tracks to Georgetown — will include a new 3-kilometre spur line branching off to Pearson’s Terminal One. The project is pegged at a cost of $128.6 million, creating about 1,200 jobs, and will whisk passengers from the airport to downtown in 25 minutes. But there’s still no firm timetable or cost estimate for the promised conversion of the rail line from controversial diesel trains to electric ones that pollute less." The R-32's which are arguably along with the redbirds are the best and longest-serving trains in NYC subway history. With that said and approaching 50 years of service, it long past it's retirement. The should have just brought another few R-160's also so that the entire and line would be mostly R-46's along with a few R-160's. Please no haters lol from R-32's lovers, but just like a 1979 Caddy Deville, there a time and place to move on.

Official FASTRACK Subway Repair Discussion

Good job all the way from Athens on a huge upcoming story for NYC subway riders in which riders all over the world use. Actually i think needs to be tried. With that said while there no 'good time' to 'shut down' a segment of any line in NYC, to close a major coordior should be done for a few days, it should be IMO say when NYC public schools are closed for holidays/vactions i.e easter/passover spring break, august summer break, etc. -
Kiddies here couple of very early Funk R&B/HIP Hop from the early 1980's. Rap in it's infancy lol. 1)"Get Up and Dance" Freedom (1979) Remade a couple of years later by Grandmaster Flash. 2)"Freedom"(Get Up and Dance) Grandmaster Flash and Furious Five.(1982) 3)Vaughan Manson & Crew-"Bounce Rock Skate Roll"(1979) Perfect jam to skate. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvgRBPJJuyM

Something different. Here the one of most unlikely #1 songs ever. This artist did not even have a deal with a major recording contract when this mid-'90's smash came out. Thus she became the first singer ever to have a #1 song without being on a major label or album in late 1994. Also one of the biggest 1-hit wonders of last 30 years as well. lisa loeb 'stay'

Man. For 1st time in years, a legit non-model type singer(she cute but not drop dead goregous) who well can actually sing lol. Here the current #1 pop song as of October 22, 2011 in the US and much of the western world. IMO she a cross between a young Janice Joplin, Teena Marie and even a young Whitney Houston(pre addict of course lol). Adelle "Someone like you"
