Speaking of overhauls, which RTS-06s have received one?

I take it you've been seeing them on the Far Rock lines? It's nothing strange anymore. Few days ago I got 9846 on the Q35 and weeks earlier 740 was also on the Q35.

Actually no lol; quite surprising that CNGs are showing up on the Q35 (for me)...

When R179 come into service be delivered in 2015. 2 years from now. This is year 2013. Whcih Yard receive R179.. If East New York Yard then can retire R42 at least 2 month when delivered in January 2015. By the month of March 2015.. All remaining 50 R42 cars at East New Yard be retire in March 2015. It easy to retire 50 R42 cars in 2 months. rather than 222 cars R32 it will take 5 months to retire....

We doesnt not know about R179 assignment. MTA also want keep R42 MTA also contract to change

I remember 3053 was preserved way before; maybe its being stored at Ironbound.

We can't really confirm that #3741 is scrap. They could repair it like #1808. Let's just wait and see.

 

Actually, #6337 also caught fire and was retired before #6290.What happened to #6232, #6250, and #6339?

 

6250 and 6339 were supposedly in accidents and 6232 had some structural problems... (there was something reading "6232 STRUCTURAL MTAMS)

Weird. Drove to Ironbound today to see if Flxible Metro B 3053 was out and it wasn't. I asked a guard nearby if the bus was there, and he told me that NJT moved it inside for storage

 

Wonder what they use 3053 for now... I also heard they retained Metro 4G/D 1976.

Out of service due to fire damage along with #3741, #7672 and a few others.

 

Orion 5s 6232, 6250, 6290, 6337 and 6339 are in it too. (though only 6290 got burned)

And I'm guessing that those 2100s are being displaced by the 2012 MCIs.

If that's true what's replacing the R46s, R68/As then? Did you forget R46s and R68s are SMEE cars too? As for the rest of the stuff you've claimed I will wait until it actually happens before I believe it.

 

As of now, it's planned that the R211s are retiring the R46s while some other fleet retires the R68/As.

Just like two of y'all (fans) saw 4899 on the S53 and it ain't never seen the light of day in passenger service, right?

I just hope there will be some kind of design tweek with the 179s. I do not want the same design as the R160s.
