    My Optimum app worked fine for about a month and now it doesn't work. My old iPod (from '07) still works but the battery life is ass and the Touch I have now has slightly better battery life.

    So what happens if you manage to get just the route number repeating on the sign? That happened out here before they got to finally reprogramming the signs. I want to see Veolia take on actually programming new destinations into the signs.

    When rush hour comes along and N16s aren't as common, people flock to the 45 and 51 to get to the mall. It especially helps in the afternoon.

    While I'm at it, it seems as though the '04 Orion V CNGs have all been reprogrammed. Saw 1689 today with NICE BUS on the destination sign and another bus with a larger font N6 Jamaica 165 St Term reading.

    The issue with the LF buses is the rear seating... what do you do if people never climb those steps? With the NG CNGs here there's absolutely no room in the back once the seats fill up. With the NG HEVs there's at least a good amount of breathing room considering there's barely anyone back there but it seems like a waste of space if no one moves back.

    Well that's magical. Only saw about 5 NGs today out of the 20 buses I saw while eating lunch at RF and on the way home, no wraps other than 1838 popped up.

    Contrast between the orange wraps and the Luminators isn't as bad as it was with the white paint.

    1838 on the N15 was wrapped, saw it just an hour ago at Hempstead.

    That was last semester when I had morning classes and the N43 was the only thing that would come by, so I'd take it to the N4 for the N25 home. About 3 out of every N4s I ever rode were either packed or late. Miraculously, the worst bus I ever had to ride home on one was an old Cummins unit which stalled once when it got into Lynbrook and that was gone the second the first NG arrived.

    I have gotten on the 36 whenever it popped up to avoid that horrific N4... the n4 has gotten better under NICE since the bus operators actually get moving, but the 36 does get quite a few riders near the Freeport-Baldwin border. The ride along Atlantic is also quite scenic.
