I think you're referring to the photo in the post above mine. I was asking about the photo with the MTA Bus in it.

The last New Flyer XN40 order is still being delivered and goes up to 1999.

What facility is that photo taken at?

Why is NICE testing a 35-foot instead of a 40-foot bus? They should just put a demo XE40 in service at some point and see how it performs with all-day usage around the system. Ideally, it should be able to handle a driver's paddle without needing a re-charge at the depot. The other question is whether NICE would/could place electric chargers in different areas around the system for regeneration. For example, Hempstead Transit Center might not be such a bad idea for layovers.

Anyone know what types of maintenance NICE doesn't do that requires them to send out their buses to a facility in Deer Park (besides inspections):

No injuries I believe and the fleet number was 1930. Someone better go and update the Wikipedia page quickly! Somebody initially put that the impacted bus was 1910 incorrectly but that edit was later removed by someone else. More Photos:

I count at least five Orion V CNG buses still at the former Rockville Centre Depot as well as some minibuses all lined up at the south driveway on Banks Ave: I looked up 1673 on Auctions International and the lots where I think it would have been included did not include 1673: https://www.auctionsinternational.com/auction/nassau-mta-9931-9931/page/1 https://www.auctionsinternational.com/auction/nassau-county-mta-ny-22187-22187/page/1 Are these owned by someone else or are they being kept for a reason by NICE? Should we expect to see them auctioned off soon? Any ideas? Anyone miss these?

I'm not sure if anyone knows this or not but there are some Orion V CNG buses still stored at the former Rockville Centre bus depot at the southeast side on Banks Ave.
