Been saying this for years now, I need to move out. Forgot talking, forget working things out, I need my own space.

The Unite the Right rally is a Neo-Nazi, KKK, white-supremacist rally to suppress everyone other than the racist, Christian-based cult-right. Heather Hayer and Harris are victims of terrorist attacks by this cult. These terrorists are at the same level as al-Qaida and ISIS. Anyone who claims this to be hyperbole is delusional.

...attacking people that were simply exercising their right to protest. We ALL have rights to protest, even if we don't agree on everything. If you and I disagree on something, that doesn't give you the right to physically attack me and vice versa. That's a no-no and on that Trump is right. BOTH sides were wrong because they went there to stir the pot and you had a riot break out. PEACEFUL marching regardless of someone's point of view is totally fine. That's what mak...

@DaTransitMan: You're missing the point. There's nothing wrong with marching peacefully against Neo-Nazis, the KKK and the like. However, there were some people there that went solely to start a mess and it made the situation worse. That's my point. Just because I'm against something doesn't mean I get to show up to a march and start beating people up and destroying property. We have laws here. This happened here in NYC too, where people on the left went and started...

Oh please. I'm not condoning any of these groups because both sides are wrong. The people on the left think they have carte blanche to do whatever they want in the name of fighting "injustice" and "racism". Sorry, but the laws don't work that way. As Trump said, there's wrong doing "on many sides".... On many sides...

So far, I feel like the only one who feels the transit fares should be lowered AND restructured across the board and that the fare-beating law should be greatly reduced, completely revamped so it doesn't penalize the working class and poor, or abolished.

lol... There's a white guy that does this. Would try to get the express bus without paying. Even asked me for a dip. Looked at him like he was crazy. I now see him taking the local bus. Likely trying the same crap. The B/O's on the express don't allow it, so he has no choice but to try the local. Surely he has the money but why pay if you can get on for free? That's the way folks do things these days... Let someone else pay for your expenses.

Can't believe I made it to my 20th birthday. That means I've been on this site almost 8 years.

Since the bonus will be going down soon, would it make sense to start buying fares now to take advantage of the current bonus?

Always depressed now for some reason....

One thing that will forever get on my nerves when it comes to other buffs(or foamers, in this case) is when they push people aside just to get a photo or video. Some flash a transit museum pass as if that's a reason for them to act like a dick....that clearly shows what's inherently wrong with some people. I have heard and witnessed similar accounts, and it's just moronic....

Even if I am early, the trains and buses here in NYC will somehow try to make me late.

Wow! This girl at Mineola was upset about something and just threw her phone onto the track and walk away..... Wow unbelievable

Can't wait for Thanksgiving.

Trump is the new President… And so homophobes, nationalists, Islamophobes, sexists, racists, and maybe a sexual predator enter position of power that risk setting this country back 70 years. God help us now.

Hate when people tell me not to disrespect my mom. You really have to be here with me and experience what I experience to know why I do so...
-
Can't find a job, and loosing job opportunities. Yeah hope my silly mom is happy now....
-
How are you "lossing" job opportunities? The key to getting any job is obtaining experience. I would even volunteer if need be for a bit to have something down on my CV. My first ever job was working as a camp counselor over the summer at 15 and after that I interned for the for two summers before moving on to other office jobs during summer and winter breaks. Can't sit back and mope...

I'm sick and tired of ignorant people calling Bay Ridge "Beirut"

Bay Ridge used to not have that many Arabs. It's one of the last old school "ethnic" neighborhoods in South Brooklyn (historically the area had a large Scandinavian population (Norweigans in particular), followed by Italian-Americans and Irish-Americans), and thus there is resentment to the new comers who obviously are not white. They've generally been contained to the beginning of Bay Ridge in the North around 68th/69th streets and 5th, but as those people have children...

These fare increases are becoming a real burden for me...sigh
