18126 was likely just helping out. Washington Twp borrows buses from Camden on a frequent basis as they're still down several buses. For instance, 17064 was helping on the 551 yesterday. But yes 18064-18085 were returned to EHT and all 19131-19141 were returned to Camden. 18000s past 18085 and 19000s past 19141 were never originally swapped.

Update ALL Newton Avenue and EHT buses are back at their original garages, the last four buses of the swap were returned. 18067 and 18072 went back down the Expressway to EHT last night while 18126 and 19135 returned to Camden this morning. 19136 and 19143 are still at Turnersville ( Washington Twp).

Two 18000s down due to crash on White Horse Pike
Tranzitfan81 replied to Tranzitfan81's topic in New Jersey Transit
Yes same. I didn't think either one of them would have been back. I guess there is hope for 18014 and 18016 too then ( slowly but surely), -
Yes they are back at Newton. EHT and Newton swapped buses a few months ago but the swap has been reversed and buses are in the process of being sent back to their Original garages. 18065 and 18066 as well as 18068-18071, 18075 and 18085 are back at EHT. The above 19130s you just mentioned as well as 19141 are back in Camden now also.

18032 is MIRACULOUSLY back on the road too!!! It is on the 410 this morning. -
I noticed that the transferring has either slowed or stopped. For instance EHT has 19131-19135,19138 19140 &19141 but Camden still has 19126-19130, 19139, 19142, 19144-19151. There's a gap now with the 18000s too, I noticed 18064-18072 and 18075 are in Camden and 18073 and 74 are still at the Shore but Camden also has 18085. The buses in between are also still at the Shore. I noticed 19136 and 19143 are at Turnersville and they are borrowing buses from Camden it seems like everyday now. 19129 is doing the 551 now and former EHT 18070 is on the 406 today. I hope some of these former DeCamp buses end up in Turnersville or EHT. These are badly needed especially before the summer schedule kicks in.

DeCamp ending commuter service effective April 7th

I noticed on MyBus Now a few 19000s down the Shore. Turnersville has a couple of them too that have been there for a while (19136 and 19143). -

They need them back, some of those buses(17Ks) can come down to Southern NJ ( Egg Harbor Twp and Washington Twp-Turnersville) where they're needed desperately. -

Not sure if this has been reported but 18023 has been repaired and has resumed service. To be honest, I thought it was done!!! Glad to see that it is back on the road. It is definitely needed, hopefully 18014 makes it back soon too. -
New Jersey Transit - Random Thoughts Thread
Tranzitfan81 replied to Orion VII 4 Life's topic in New Jersey Transit
Those are Camden buses (Newton Avenue). Camden seems to take good care of their buses. Since Camden is starting to get the XE40s maybe those 5300s are coming up to Paterson. 5373 is up there too. I am not sure about the rest yet. The relocation must have been recent because I was just back home in NJ two weeks ago and saw 5372 several times on various Camden routes. -
5334 on the 1??? Not sure why severely short Washington Twp is loaning buses to North Jersey, but this bus has been up there since last Tuesday apparently. As a result of the shortage, there is a domino effect, Washington Twp has to borrow from Newton Avenue to assist with the 400 and 403 while Newton Avenue has been borrowing from Hamilton Twp ( Mercer County). 5509 was on the 413 yesterday and 5539 was down in Camden doing a 453 last week. This week I saw 5578 on the 403 and 5582 and 5585 on the 400. On the MCI side, it seems like more Newton Avenue busses are down the Shore in Atlantic and Cape May Counties ( 17064, 19128, 19131 and 19150).

The Courier Post ( Camden Newspaper) stated that (per NJT) 22901 will begin service on 10-24 making debut on the 452. I am surprised they chose the 452 first. It runs up and down a lot of raggedy streets. The 455 and 457 are next after that. I am surprised they're not choosing the popular Mall routes first (404, 405 and 407).

6201 and 6202 have reported for duty and they're already running in the Atlantic City area. I haven't seen 6203 or 6204 yet. I forgot a lot of buses from North Jersey do not have bike racks. But yes they need those buses in Washington Twp. There was a 5900 on the 400 yesterday and a 5500 on the 403 today. Those four buses will definitely help.

6197-6200 are not operating out of Washington Twp as of yet. Strange that they're getting these buses in the first place at a NABI suburban garage. But any help is needed as lots of 5300s have been running daily on MCI routes (401, 402, 406, 408, 410, 412, 551 and 554) due to bus shortages and the fact that Washington Twp is sharing the 316 with Newton Avenue. It has become a usual occurrence to see Newton Avenue buses daily helping Turnersville routes both on the NABI and MCI side. Also on the flip side, 18128 appears to have been returned to Newton Avenue from EHT. 18128 is currently on the 418 after going to Trenton as a 409.
