  1. Up to 19144 is at Newton Avenue; Camden ( I think). 19144 on the 409 . In fact tonight, all of the 409 buses out tonight are all new coaches, the oldest bus that is running tonight is 18129(which is hardly old). No 75s in sight.
  2. Oh cool. Thanks, I am guessing maybe the GPS tracker on it isn't working then because it has not been visible on MyBus now for weeks.
  3. Newton Avenue is now up to 19138 doing a 409 run now. It is nice to see that all three South Jersey garages now with lots of new coaches. I can't wait to fly back to NJ and see them all encompassing Downtown Camden and Market St in Center City Philadelphia.
  4. It looks like Newton Ave (Camden) is getting their next batch of new buses, 19126 is on the 317 and 19128 is on the 418 Express. However does anyone know what happened to 18126 ? That has been MIA ( Off MyBus now) for almost 2 months.
  5. Please add 7512 to Newton Avenue Camden ( I thought it was retired after being MIA for about 4 months). It is back out was on the 317 this evening. Also add 7526 back to Washington Twp; last year when Washington Twp got their 18Ks, this was sent to Camden but then it was Swapped with 7523. Lastly Washington Twp sent two of their buses to Hamilton Twp ( Mercer County) 5347 and 5352 were seen on various Trenton area routes lately( not sure if these are loaners or permanent) It makes no sense because Washington Twp is still short buses, they're always borrowing from Newton Avenue and EHT.
  6. Oh wow!!!!This is some surprising news, I know someone on here mentioned that a lot of Camden Drivers don't like the new buses as they're used to driving 40 footers. Also found out that they weren't using them on the 409 too much due to issues with tight turns. The 4 new buses Camden has now ( 18126-18129) are not used too often. This week, only two have been spotted on MyBus Now (18126 and 18128) and they have both been used on the 317 only.
  7. UPDATES at the three South Jersey garages: 7520, 7523 and 7528 are all at Newton Avenue 7548, 7549, 7556, 7558 and 7611 are all retired from Newton Avenue 18093 is at Washington Twp ( loaned from EHT to assist with AC Rail shutdown) 6007 and 6008 are no longer at Newton Avenue ( transferred to Academy 22 Hillside)
  8. It looks like they're back on the road now. 18128 on the 317 heading to Asbury Park and 18129 is on the 409 enroute from Trenton as of tonight.
  9. What happened to the new ones from Camden ( 18126-18129)? They've been MIA for almost 2 weeks now. I also see 7526 was returned to Washington Twp, it was used on the 401, 406 and 551 recently.
  10. Washington Twp garage is out with the backward assignments again: This whole week during the evening rush; the 403 and 459 which are EXACT FARE lines have been receiving new 18000s while Two Full Service MCI lines 406 and 412 are using NABIs. This evening has been no exception: 403:18044 enroute to Camden 459: 18006 enroute to Voorhees 412:5346 headed towards Glassboro 406: 5357 towards Berlin. Ironically 5357 was on the 459 earlier in the day. I wonder why NJ Transit doesn't operate like a lot of the West Coast agencies. For instance, Santa Clara Valley Transit Authority has their drivers switch shifts at the end of the line. The drivers switch, the relieving driver takes over the bus while the finishing driver usually gets in an agency car or SUV and drives back to the garage. I think that will help with the bus shortage and maybe there wouldn't be so many odd bus assignments.
  11. So an update from last week: 18010 and 18011 are back at Washington Twp. 18010 was on the 406 Friday, 18011 was on the 551 last night. I am guessing since EHT has the 18120s, they no longer needed 18010-18011. Speaking of 18120s: The New Kids in Camden finally made Weekday trips on the 409. 18128 ( is back) and 18129 were used on the 409 this past Friday. Now more awkwardness; it has become usual for Turnersville to borrow NABIs from Camden for trips on the 400 and 403... 5578 and 5908 were on the 403 yesterday HOWEVER it is NOT usual to see them borrowing from the Mercer County, 5542 is on the 403 on a SUNDAY. Even more odd that they didn't borrow from Camden today since 3 Camden Routes do not even operate on Sundays.
  12. Wacky bus sighting in Camden area: 7512 is being used right now on the 452...Very unusual for an MCI to be used on the 452 period especially on a Saturday evening!?!? Not so uncommon anymore 6004 ( Newton Ave) was being used on the 400 ( Wash Twp Route) all day today. Also with the new buses 18128 has been MIA...Only 18126 , 18127 and 18129 on the 316 and 317 daily. Did something happen to 18128? Still no answer on why besides the one Sunday night a few weeks ago; no new MCIs have been placed on the 409.
  13. 400 and 403 must be strapped with NABIs today: 18006 doing a 400 run and 18040 doing a 403 run currently. It is just weird that this is happening since the 400 and 403 were converted to exact fare back in 2010. I guess they couldn't borrow any buses from the Camden garage. And with the four 18000s at the Camden (Newton Avenue) Garage, they still get very little usage on the 409. Predominantly the new buses are doing 316 and 317 runs. Only last Sunday, 18127 was used during the evening on the 409. The 409 still sees NABIs, even on the weekends. Anyone know why is this?
  14. Yes to my surprise as well; there are 45 footers running on the 316 and 317. 18127 and 18129 are on the 317 and 18128 on the 316 as of this morning. None have been used yet on the 409.
  15. 18126 is on the 317 via MyBusnow approaching Moorestown Mall. 18129 on the 317 as well coming from Asbury Park. I thought Camden wasn't getting 45 foot buses.
  16. 18122 and 18123 are on the 559. Are these loaners or will they be assigned to Egg Harbor Twp? Also 18010 and 18011 were sent down the AC Expressway from Washington Twp to Egg Harbor Twp...I am assuming they're just there for the summer.
  17. I don't understand the summer time MCI swapping in South Jersey; So Egg Harbor is borrowing 18010 and 18011 for the summer from Washington Twp.. The problem is this Washington Twp has already been short a couple of MCis. ANd in turn they still have to borrow MCIs for trips on the 551 and 554. Tonight..18091 is on the 551 yet EHT has 18010 and 18011. It has happened almost every night last week too. Why loan buses to a garage when you still have to borrow theirs? Meanwhile up the Freeway in Camden, they're severely short MCIs now. Today and even on Friday an NABI was used the 317, which goes from Camden and Philadelphia all the way up to Asbury Park. And NABIs show up on the 409, 417 and 418 daily now. Sometimes the 409 even has to borrow NABIs from Mercer County for their trips. It is about to get worse the 316 starts up next weekend and they use MCIs from all 3 South Jersey garages.
  18. 18107 was on the 406 during rush hour today. Not sure if it was a loaner from Egg Harbor or more buses for Turnersville ( Washington Twp)? We still have two oldies in Turnersville (7516 and 7523) running and NABIs are still used on MCI routes. 5341 is on the 554 this evening.
  19. Egg Harbor Twp and Howell share trips on the 137 during the rush hour. 7422 is on there now which is now an Egg Harbor Twp bus and 7801 is running on there as well.
  20. Atlantic County also has 18094 running on the 553. It looks like there are more new buses. I saw 18095 on mybus now earlier too.
  21. Surprised that there is still a shortage in Washington Twp even with all of the 18000s and with 16003 there too; 3 Newton Avenue MCIs covering tonight: 7546 on the 554; 7564 on the 551 and 7548 was on the 406 during the rush hour earlier. It is funny because 4 old MCIs were just transferred to Camden (7512, 7520, 7526 and 7528).
  22. 18063 on the 406 tonight along with 16003 and 18009. Is Washington Twp still short buses? 5334 was on the 554 this morning, also over the weekend NABIs on the 406 (5356) and 412 (5329). Four older models still around too: 8270 and 7516 were on the 406 7523 on the 408 and 7515 on the 401. Newton Avenue acquired 7512, 7520 and 7526 from Washington Twp. At one point, they had 7528 as well, but it's been about a week since I've seen it on MyBus now. 7501 is back at Newton Avenue also. Egg Harbor has been using 8286 on the 559.
