Nah, F__K that! Why are you even against the idea of Staten Island receiving new NTTs to begin with. Those 44s need to go. Why even repeat the past idea of having to transport an current fleet when they can purchase brand new ones to the 40-year course. Lets not forget the better exterior features as oppose the interior ones that can arguably be seen as a waste? Kinda weird to bring it up now when the cars are already undergoing test and MORE are on the way. It makes no sense at all, you may as be saying they could've added another 75-100 more cars to past contracts for the SIR but better late than never. May as well do as little moving around between the SIR and the NYCT as possible.
Yes and they are all out and about today. You can see a set early 20-30 minutes now and even end to end on the LOL
If you want 4110-19 specifically it's heading to Manhattan as of when I type this.
It don't have to be consistent, they started to doing it. Thats all that matters imo. Funny thing, 4060 still hold first of everything in the series having the owl debut on the night of August 5. Two weeks later, it was 4070. They tryna run them around the clock, get them ready so the 46s can be knocked out quickly and match their rates with the 179s.
From what I'm hearing just now, the 4090 set is still at the CIY Complex on extensive maintenance. I can't get many details on the matter, but it might be why it's not coupled with 4095, not that it should matter but either way, not an issue with me. Could be wrong here, not promising anything.
Yessss..... A month ago, the week of June 21 along with the 4095+set a week prior to that...... How many times are we going to confirm this? Some of y'all are really late to the update party.
Anyways, the 4100s are coming in this month and next and the next. The pacing of deliveries is up to Kawasaki. Up to the 4140s are standing by.
Who cares. They'll probably get better after delivery completes for all we know.... Like the current predecessors. It's just a matter of time.
....and maintenance.
Just another set of predictions and thoughts masked as logical until preliminary results can change. Nothing new here. It's been said thousands of times already....
If the Wi-Fi didn't work out on the buses, why would we think it'd be any different on the subway cars? The charging ports are on the same chopping block and obviously, can be a waste of maintenance. I say, F**k those amenities in particular, give me new trains that can run and give information....
Like seriously, It's what saying. The can benefit from being full length sharing with and the and can possibly use the extra equipment. They didn't throw the R143s on the for just foam and lols. Well the R179s were screwing up at the time but still, you get my point lol
