  1. They got to be at least 40 years old before the worst units to be considered written off to "Fish housing" and the better units can be used for few more years of storage, then run their courses to follow sue in their demise at the raise of their future successors. Unless something changes with the time, this is a never-ending 40+ year cycle with the rolling stock. Yeah, don't go looking at the R188s and think that should be a thing with the existing fleet. With the 's financial track record, that's unrealistically null....
  2. Let's leave the out of this. The Lexington lines and 42nd Street shuttle are better with 262s while the 142s gets shifted to the 7th Avenue lines because of the front red route sign, I guess..... I want to think that's what the is really going for.......
  3. Worst. Gaslighting. Ever...... A toast and rock out to more R211s and other city-changing NTTs yet to come.
  4. It's really not like any of us has control over the stupid assignments.....
  5. I feel like someone is flipping us off with this one. I really don't know why though, Damn.... lol
  6. Well, you can probably search the sources. In recent updates the service debut was pushed to Spring '23. But as it is always safe to say on the sites, that is subject to change or whatevs....
  7. Could be worst. They could be suggesting that a rush hour deadhead between The Rockaways and Coney Island would be feasible every day. I mean, imagine that insanity.... LOL. Yeah, I know that doesn't make sense either.
  8. I kinda like they added the IKEA store locations on the tube map. That's almost interesting lol
  9. Then replies like this, so pointlessly: f**k those guys, they can snap their necks too. nuff said. It's New York, there's almost 4 million reasons to doubt that....
  10. And the award for discount dispatcher of 2022 goes to......
  11. But in reality the R142/As may go to 7 Avenue lines and the R262s will be for The Lex line and 42nd Street Shuttle. Subject to change of course.
  12. Nah, the would still replace it, of peak. Obviously, The four track would be a waste being that the is parallel to that corridor.....
  13. Is this still a thing? I feel like no updates has surfaced about a "Split (R)" for years now.....
  14. No, for god's sake, please. In reality, that would slow the commute to Manhattan on top of using heavy traffic of the BQE. Eventually, it'll push ridership to the subway which may makes the express buses useless..... Let those areas have their routes and keep the trip directly to their start/finish destinations....
  15. Especially with the R262 having a small amount of 6-car trains, in base order, to cover the shuttle. I feel FLX here is forgetting the actually cars in discussion....
  16. No kidding, only adding to the point in reference to the R262s replacing the R62s BEFORE CBTC is installed and ready.... That's what he's saying.
  17. He's referring to possibility of software updates before service testing if needed.... I mean, they do have a lot of time....
  18. My money is on 4500-4519 or 3328-3347, doesn't matter really because 3328-4059 = 732 cars (the 4-cars sets can use a consist from 3328-3359 or 4028-4059) so from 4500 to end at 4864 (365 cars). The R211S' can use either 2925-2999 or below any pattern below 1000 matching the R44SIR. Just my take on it.
  19. If DJ isn't there and no video from him. it's not true lol
