INDman Posted May 14, 2010 Share #3 Posted May 14, 2010 I wonder what was so suspicious..... Paranoia. If you see something but you thing it's nothing, say something anyway. That or, if it's not an American flag, it must be a bomb.
St Louis Car 09 Posted May 14, 2010 Share #4 Posted May 14, 2010 I guess everyones car that is left idling while the driver gets a damn croissant is suspicious or someone trying to be a hero. The economy is bad. I guess someone needs attention.
Dan Posted May 14, 2010 Share #5 Posted May 14, 2010 Media is saying there was gas cans in the back seat. Apparently, the owner of the vehicle was a landscaper and was driving around with the gas in the back seat.
Locomotion69 Posted May 14, 2010 Share #6 Posted May 14, 2010 It was a "sketchy 1991 Olds Cutlass Ciera". This guy should have kept his gas cans in his trunk so nobody could see them. Good luck trying to get reimbursed from the city to replace your blown out windows. This hipster was at a concert. ""They stopped in the middle of the song and said, 'Does anyone have a 1991 Cutlass?"
MTR Admiralty Posted May 15, 2010 Author Share #7 Posted May 15, 2010 Paranoia. If you see something but you thing it's nothing, say something anyway. That or, if it's not an American flag, it must be a bomb. It's natural. We just came out of the Times Square thing. For the next couple of months, there will be this elevated sense of paranoia and everything.

Well look, we just witnessed an event that would have become the death of hundreds at Times Square two weeks ago. There will be folks that would be easily agitated when they see something that is abnormal. It's not funny. If you were part of the bomb squad, you wouldn't think this would be funny. You have some overly paranoid folks call the cops who then reported to the HQ, and the HQ sends you out only to find that it's not a bomb. You think you want to be send out that often? Plus you have to get all that equipment out and then rush in the given time, only to find it's not a bomb. It's simply not funny.
