metsfan Posted July 6, 2010 Share #1 Posted July 6, 2010 The scoop of the decade, one of, if not the first, runs of NJT's brand new 7500 hp ALP-46a loco fleet on the :nec: in revenue service. Some more photos: I will add in the videos later, so check back often, they will take a while to upload. Vids: Not much to really look at i the dark, but man, i've ridden by the loco dozens of times, mainly to just get some fresh air, (do not do this yourself) the power and the arcing from the current draw from the wires and the regenerative braking really took me by surprise, a totally different beast from the old 46 series. - A Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
