Santa Fe via Willow Posted October 11, 2010 Share #1 Posted October 11, 2010 The last dates like todays were, recently: 7/7/77 8/8/88 9/9/99 1/1/01 2/2/02 3/3/03 4/4/04 5/5/05 6/6/06 7/7/07 8/8/08 9/9/09 And now today The next date like this will be: 11/11/11 56 weeks & a day from now. This is reminding me of that Simpsons Halloween Special when Marge is saying "It was the 13th hour of the 13th day of the 13th month" & Homer saying "Lousy Smarch weather!". CenSin Posted October 11, 2010 Share #4 Posted October 11, 2010 I'm not too crazy about "special" calendar dates (like Pi Day). It's just an arbitrary system devised by the ancients. There are dozens of other calendar systems in existence. And the universe doesn't give a damn that we assign a certain point in time a bunch of numbers, slashes, and colons.
