EE Broadway Local Posted December 5, 2010 Share #3 Posted December 5, 2010 Here are the new one way fares which take effect January 1, 2011: • Between New Jersey (Lindenwold, Ashland or Woodcrest) and Philadelphia $3.00 from $2.70 ($6.00 round trip). • Between New Jersey (Haddonfield, Westmont or Collingswood) and Philadelphia $2.60 from $2.35 ($5.20 round trip) • Between Camden (Ferry Avenue) and Philadephia $2.25 from $2.05 ($4.50 round trip) • Between Camden (Broadway or City Hall) and Philadelphia $1.40 from $1.25 ($2.80 round trip) • Within New Jersey $1.60 from $1.35 ($3.20 round trip) • Within Philadelphia $1.40 from $1.25 ($2.80 round trip) It's actually less to go from Camden (City Hall or Broadway) to Philadelphia ($1.40) than it's to go from City Hall to Broadway ($1.60), but more to go from Camden (Ferry Avenue) to Philadelphia ($2.25) than it's to go from Ferry Avenue to City Hall ($1.60). metsfan Posted December 6, 2010 Share #4 Posted December 6, 2010 PATCO is high on my list of "transportation systems i think are neat". Their rolling stock is very cool & their fares are.... fair. Actually know a retired signal maintainer. - A
PATCOman Posted December 6, 2010 Share #5 Posted December 6, 2010 Here are the new one way fares which take effect January 1, 2011: • Between New Jersey (Lindenwold, Ashland or Woodcrest) and Philadelphia $3.00 from $2.70 ($6.00 round trip). • Between New Jersey (Haddonfield, Westmont or Collingswood) and Philadelphia $2.60 from $2.35 ($5.20 round trip) • Between Camden (Ferry Avenue) and Philadephia $2.25 from $2.05 ($4.50 round trip) • Between Camden (Broadway or City Hall) and Philadelphia $1.40 from $1.25 ($2.80 round trip) • Within New Jersey (except between Broadway and City Hall) $1.60 from $1.35 ($3.20 round trip) *From Broadway and City Hall is $1.40 • Within Philadelphia $1.40 from $1.25 ($2.80 round trip) Look at the changes I made. Sorta OT: Anyone have any idea why you can't use the PATCO to SEPTA xfer on the 17 bus route? The site says that you can use the xfer on the C, 2, 9, 12, 21, 23, 27, 32, 33, 38, 42, 44, 47, 47M, 48, 61, and 121 routes, but not the 17. 553 Bridgeton Posted December 6, 2010 Share #6 Posted December 6, 2010 The fares arent bad. Even with the increase it still is decent.
EE Broadway Local Posted December 6, 2010 Share #7 Posted December 6, 2010 But PATCOman, the PATCO page I got this from says between any two New Jersey stations is $1.60, while from Broadway or City Hall to Philadelphia is $1.40. I assumed a rider travelling from City Hall to Broadway in Camden would pay the new $1.60 fare. But if $1.40 is the fare, that's even better!

EE Broadway Local Posted December 7, 2010 Share #9 Posted December 7, 2010 You would think it would be good on #17 because of 8th/Market Streets.
