Sea Beach Disasters, As a (D) Pays a Visit To Bay Ridge

Sea Beach

Recommended Posts

Got a few Culver shots before the storm hit, and Sea Beach Blizzard shots. As some of you know, there are no trains going to CI due to the snow, as a result, (D) trains were being sent to 95th St on the (R), I had no way of getting to there but walk, so I walked from Ft Hamilton on the (N) to Bay Ridge Ave on the (R), wasnt such a nice walk in this storm, but was pretty much worth it. I'll start off with the Calm Before....

Whoa, great photos of the (D) trains at Sea Beach and Bay Ridge.

Thanks!

Hahaha, i know the M/M on that (N) train in the last pic.

LOL, I feel bad for him

11 hours stuck on a train at a station? Were they at least given at option to leave?

Yes but they had no where to go

Awesome coverage! If the (D) was going local on CPW, it would have stopped at 2 different 86 Streets and 2 59 Streets!

Thanks! Yup

I smell the MTA losing millions to lawsuits in the coming months...

I hope those trains are gone now, when they are focusing on clearing the Sea Beach/Brighton.

SMH. The Sea Beach/Brighton may be shut down for another 2 days as what I heard from a T/O

He was out there over 20 hours before being rescued. Another friend of mine spent the day driving out replacement crews to all the stalled trains and by the time he was done, many of the replacements were out there for 12 to 15 hours.

I heard 28 hours over the radio from him last night before being relieved.
