East New York Posted January 11, 2011 Share #3 Posted January 11, 2011 I know you dont expect me to say this KJ, but Google keeps us safe when they can! Go USA!
Citaro Posted January 11, 2011 Share #4 Posted January 11, 2011 Google is ruling us. It's the most powerful government in terms of controlling informations and our behaviour. The slogan of the tea party is "government is not the solution", but they are supporting just another government, which is called like a brand. I prefer to fight for net-neutrality and democracy in the web. That would be the best way to avoid the rule of one company. But i'm waiting for that "i hate Obama and socialism and Obama is Hitler comment" from a Fox brainwashed guy here.
NX Express Posted January 11, 2011 Share #5 Posted January 11, 2011 To google is an official verb now, according to Merriam-Webster.
Infamous85 Posted January 11, 2011 Share #6 Posted January 11, 2011 I can't mesh with Bing, no matter how many times I try. Google's practices are a bit shady but I don't think it's a big conspiracy.
Locomotion69 Posted January 12, 2011 Share #7 Posted January 12, 2011 I hate Bing with a passion, but love google maps, google earth and google chrome which is way faster then firefox at least on my computer.
EE Broadway Local Posted January 16, 2011 Share #8 Posted January 16, 2011 But in addition to Google, there is also AOL, ASK, Bing, MSN, and Yahoo! Each offers both Web and Images as well as E-Mail (well, maybe not ASK with E-Mail). (I do love Google Street View, Earth View and GMail, and Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary (Eleventh Edition), though).
