If you notice, 4906, the star of the show today, has both a different long hood than say 4107, red paint on the frame which makes the trucks stand way out, and its HEP compartment door was open.

Thanks guys!

 

As soon as i saw MTA hood unit i took as many photos as i could, i know they only have the one, the rest are GP40FH or F40PH. It was the only MNRR loco in the terminal at the time, which is slightly unusual but not hugely rare. Usually they have a cat (F40) sitting somewhere else. It may have been because they are working on the canopy & didn't have a train parked near where they were working.
