Next the City Hall tower on the Broadway line is having problems. This affects the (N)(Q)(R)(J). Note you can't run Broadway Line trains on the 6thav line or 8th av line since it creates confusion.

You do what you have to do sometimes. They run the (R) on 6th Avenue all the time...

(N): Pacific Street-Coney Island & 42nd Street-Astoria.

(Q): Prospect Park-Coney Island.

(R): Via 6th Avenue & Manhattan Bridge. Special shuttle trains operate between 95th Street & Whitehall Street.

(J) / (Z): Terminates at Essex Street.

(N) No service between 34 Street-Herald Square and Rector Street. Uses Whitehall Street middle tracks to switch.

(Q) Suspended.

(R) via 63 Street / 6 Avenue / Manhattan Bridge. Otherwise no service between Rector Street and Times Sq-42 Street (Skipping 49 Street.)

(J)(Z) Terminates at Essex Street.

Other services taken into account:

(B) Runs 24/7 between 145 Street and Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue, via Brighton Local.

As an alternative, take the (B)(D)(F)(M)(1)(2)(3)(4)(5)(6) trains to nearby stations.

The IRT is shut down @ 149th Street junction and at Atlantic Avenue. This means no trains from those junctions can get into Manhattan from the North or South. This affects the 2, 3, 4, and 5.

This should be interesting (it assumes trains can terminate at, but can NOT go past these stations):

(B) and (D) both operate local between 205th Street and 161st-Yankee Stadium at all times in the Bronx, with the (B) operating 24/7 while this is going on.

(2), (4) and (5) have shuttle trains in the Bronx between their respective terminals and 149th Street at all times.

Shuttle bus operates between 161st-Yankee Stadium and the 3rd Avenue (6) station.

Additional shuttle bus service between the Woodlawn and Moshulu Parkway (4) and 242nd Street-Van Cortlandt Park (1) station.

Some (1) trains run peak-direction express between 242nd-Van Cortlandt Park and Dyckman Street AND between 145th and 96th Street in Manhattan.

(J) and (Z) are extended to Prospect Park or Brighton Beach, Brooklyn via the Montauge tunnel and the Brighton line.

(2) in Brooklyn runs between Atlantic Avenue and Flatbush Avenue.

(3) runs in two sections:

148th Street-Lenox Terminal to Wall Street, Manhattan

Atlantic Avenue-New Lots Avenue, Brooklyn

Transfer to (J) or (Z) at Atlantic Avenue or Fulton Street to transfer between the two (3) trains.

(6) is extended to Borough Hall, Brooklyn and is the only Lexington Avenue line operating in Manhattan. For Atlantic Avenue, transfer to Nassau Street line trains at Canal Street, Brooklyn Bridge-Chambers Street or Fulton Street in Manhattan or Borough Hall-Court Street OR to shuttle bus noted below.

Shuttle bus operates between Borough Hall and Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn stopping at Hoyt and Nevins Street stations.

Franklin Avenue (S) is split as follows:

Single two-car, 150' train between Botanic Garden and Franklin Avenue on the Franklin Avenue-bound track.

Five-car, 300' trains between Botanic Garden (Prospect Park-bound track) and Coney Island.

Dude, only the IRT is affected. This just really makes me think are you just stupid or something?

Now stop self-pleasuring to the thought of the (J)(Z) running down Brighton because I will explain using LOGIC why your solution is flawed, and besides for the fact that ONLY THE FREAKING IRT IS AFFECTED. (Thank god that you didn't eff up the transit museum and send the (C) train there)

This would mean:

(R)(J)(Z) share tracks between Manhattan and DeKalb, then the (J)(Z) must MERGE with the (B)(Q) trains. This will cause severe delays to (B)(J)(Q)(R)(Z) trains. Oh, and you want to completely screw up the Franklin Avenue shuttle, making people have to transfer between shuttles at Botanic Garden, and then run that crap down to Coney Island? That's FIVE different lines running down Brighton.

Oh, and why the heck is the (1) now operating peak direction express? It is no where near the (2)(4)(5) in the Bronx, and will not get any of its customers.

The rest of your "solutions" aren't good at all in my opinion, but I can handle those because they're at least regarding IRT trains.

Stop getting aroused to the thought of the (J)(Z) going to Brooklyn. You don't need to keep posting your wet dreams here.

(4) Runs in two sections:

(5) Runs as Dyre Avenue Shuttle.

Shuttle buses run between 149 Street-Grand Concourse and 135 Street (2)(3), and between Atlantic Avenue Terminal and Eastern Parkway (2)(3) Station.

Use the (R) train as an alternative between Borough Hall and Atlantic Avenue.

3 runs in two sections:

148th Street-Lenox Terminal to Wall Street, Manhattan

Trains can't terminate at Wall Street, there are no switches on those tracks until 14 Street, they would have to go single-tracked a LONG way, causing extreme delays.

Since there hasn't been a scenario posted in a while,

NEXT

The express tracks are impassable at 23 St on the 6 and 7 Av lines. Also impassable is the connection from the 60 St tunnel to Queens Plaza, in both directions.

Affected: (2)(3)(B)(D)(R), and anything else that's necessary

That's why the MTA doesn't do the (J) shuttle from Essex Street to Prospect Park anymore

It delayed the (J) , and that meant in scheduled (R) trains changing to the express tracks south of Prince Street, and going over the bridge
