Urbanfortitude Posted January 20, 2012 Author Share #4 Posted January 20, 2012 I agree with you CenSin. But it still feels unsettling. This actually makes me think of when Napster was shut down.

B35 via Church Posted January 20, 2012 Share #9 Posted January 20, 2012 Megaupload IMO was the most reliable file sharing site.... I can't deal w/ rapidshit (rapidshare) anymore; they're regressing at a "rapid" rate.... filesonic & fileshare are aight; I see more folks are uploading larger files to one of those two, along w/ this newer one called Wupload.... The worst to me, has got to be mediafire.... I can never seem to download anything off that crap....
SoSpectacular Posted January 20, 2012 Share #10 Posted January 20, 2012 They can never be rid of these file sharing sites... There's all kinds of programs out there that allow it as well... Where one falls, another will take its place

CenSin Posted January 21, 2012 Share #12 Posted January 21, 2012 BitTorrent is coming up with a distributed file storage service. Basically, there will be no single point of failure and no easy way to bring any file offline. I believe for pirates, this would be the future of file sharing since website owners are a huge liability; if they screw up, everything they have is taken down.
