Cait Sith Posted February 26, 2012 Share #3 Posted February 26, 2012 Could you explain a little more on your thoughts? I mean, why? +1.... The only way they could house more buses is if they had more room for them....
BM5 via Woodhaven Posted February 26, 2012 Author Share #4 Posted February 26, 2012 Could you explain a little more on your thoughts? I mean, why? Well the N16 is proposed to termiate at Rockville Centre but it's based out of Mitchell Field. Shouldnt it be sent to RC instead of being at MF. Also the N26, N35(ALL),N40/N41(ALL),N43, and N45 should also be sent to Rockville Centre. MF seems to be packed.

I believe NICE splits some of those routes between the two depots. I don't think it is exactly like how the ran things. I've seen Rockville Centre buses on some of those routes before. And why move the N26 to RC when Great Neck is on the opposite shore of RC?

It could deadhead via Frankin Avenue/New Hyde Park Road
Cait Sith Posted February 26, 2012 Share #7 Posted February 26, 2012 It could deadhead via Frankin Avenue/New Hyde Park Road But wouldnt that be a rather long deadhead?
BM5 via Woodhaven Posted February 26, 2012 Author Share #8 Posted February 26, 2012 But wouldnt that be a rather long deadhead? But lets say a BO operates from Lynbrook on the n25, then cant it operate as an n26 from Great Neck, deadhead via Parsons Blvd and Northern Blvd to Great Neck and operate another n26 trip and so on.
