From the always 24/7 110% accurate Wiki roster... "

880 was repowered with a Cummins engine, overhauled, and renumbered into 380

"

Find that a little hard to believe, doesn't make any sense to me.

There is precedent for that sort of thing; New Flyer overhauled (and possibly repowered, I'm not sure) 5407 as a demonstrator for the 2002-04 D60HF order. That said, I'm pretty sure that if that had been the case 380 would have been the first new bus delivered and we probably would have seen it on city streetsbefore 230 showed up.

Not to say it's true, but apparently, C40LF 880 was overhauled and redelivered as 380. Just want to know if it's true. (probably not I'm guessing)

You talking about that picture ( my picture of 380? ) that was a joke thing , why would they over haul a c40lf older model & re number it 380 , you knew the 3xx's are coming in . 880 is sitting aside the fence/wall lined up with 14 other buses waiting to be taken to scrap monday morning . That was a picture of 380 i posted , i shot it @ zerega , it was a joke thing . Some people never caught onto it , i posted " Is this new ? " and someone put no its 880 overhauled .
