joe meadow Posted July 11, 2012 Share #1 Posted July 11, 2012 It was the n15 in long beach on Edwards and park when a car hit it. The bumper of the car fell off and the bus and a scratch on the bumper.
User Posted July 12, 2012 Share #2 Posted July 12, 2012 Another accident on the N15. It was only a month ago that another 1600 was rear ended on the N15.
FamousNYLover Posted July 12, 2012 Share #3 Posted July 12, 2012 It could possible that next victim could be Able-Ride paratransit like Dallas Area Rapid Transit paratransit driver who was not distracted crushed into cars and got fired on June 29th. Veolia contracts about 200 DART paratransit. http://dfw.cbslocal.com/2012/07/10/dart-releases-video-from-inside-paratransit-van-during-wreck/ http://www.nyctransitforums.com/forums/topic/35900-newsvideo-dallas-area-rapid-transit-paratransit-another-veolia-accident/

FamousNYLover Posted July 12, 2012 Share #5 Posted July 12, 2012 When I took 8:15 n20l Hicksville Bus last week, this turtle-pace new driver made some people missed 9:00 n27 Glen Clove connection and we had to wait another one. This driver overshoot the LOCUST stop and have to drop off passenger on dangerous side of Northern Blvd/Old Northern Blvd.
Burrstone Posted July 12, 2012 Share #6 Posted July 12, 2012 It could really be anyone to get rear ended. So many drivers are dumb. Seriously, recently I've been rear ended twice sitting in a personal car, people are dumb, how can anyone blame someone for being rear ended? Then again whenever Veolia is in charge... [YAWN] It could possible that next victim could be Able-Ride paratransit like Dallas Area Rapid Transit paratransit driver who was not distracted crushed into cars and got fired on June 29th. Veolia contracts about 200 DART paratransit. http://dfw.cbslocal....n-during-wreck/ http://www.nyctransi...eolia-accident/ That's a really far stretch and I'm sure you offended many safe professional drivers who work for paratransit. Because they work for Veolia they must be unsafe? I have had drivers who worked for LIB tell me how amazing they thought the trainers were for Veolia (the training LIB operators had to take prior to "joining" Veolia) now think new drivers hired by Veolia have to spend 3-4 weeks (120-160 hours! in training with these same trainers. Do you really think Veolia is turning out unsafe drivers. But sure there are idiots everywhere, here too. But you see Veolia in the news so often because they are everywhere, they control so many operations statistics show you'll see them more often in the news. For every Veolia nucklehead or dangerous driver we can go to the news and pull out at least 4 more who don't work for Veolia. Hey, the world wide tours accident last year, did he work for Veolia? No, but IMO you paint Veolia drivers as just as dangerous. I like you but saying NICE para transit riders might be the next victims because there have been minor accidents at NICE and a knuclehead working for Veolia halfway across the Country (that that's has nothing to do with NICE because it's controlled by different people) was involved in an accident is a knuckleheaded coment.
