Posting code issues

In one of the recent threads that I posted (4220 on the B15), I was attempting to post that picture, and it showed up properly in previews, but when I hit "Post", only text showed up. Could you please look into this (and possibly delete that post)? Thanks.

Acronym expansion has been removed and shut off.  This was the cause of this problem.  Marked as resolved.

Kind of related, but lately I have tried to post YouTube videos in my threads, but no matter what, they come out as links. They come out normally in posts, but not the first post of a thread.

Use the insert URL option on the dashboard. (The chain link icon) Copy and paste the link from the IP address seen in your browser into the field. The link type pulldown menu should be under URL. Hit OK. It should go, even in the first post in a new thread.

 

With posting pics use that or the image properties function, and insert the URL the same way. (That portrait icon on the dasboard).

 

It should work and look like this:

It could be because of your account on photobucket. The permissions on the account is not set to allow for public viewing.

Yeah get with one the administrators then. Send a PM. It could be the website, it could be the IP Board software configuration that needs to be adjusted.

This is a test from my old Photobucket account. Which seems to be working fine.

The problem might be that your folder is named MTA. The IP Board software automatically underlines it (you can see that) and that breaks the link.

I posted some videos today. The problem was that the address, for reasons unknown, changed slightly. The http:// was written as https://.

I posted some videos today. The problem was that the address, for reasons unknown, changed slightly. The http:// was written as https://.

 

That means the security on that site has changed. https means secure.
