Great picture what I did today was wait at the platform until a R188 pops up. I tried uploading the pictures and video up here but you can tell IT FAILED. I feel that R188 is kinda slow and there is a large gap between the last old 7 and the new 7 with another old 7 right behind it.

Please be advised that the t/o's have to get used to the train.

Is it a big difference compared to the 142a's besides the throttle on the right?

Yes. The brake and throttle are in one handle. Since the acceleration and braking systems are different - faster actually - it'll take time for drivers to get used to it.
