aemoreira81 Posted June 5, 2014 Share #1 Posted June 5, 2014 Pictures taken along 230 Place in Springfield Gardens as all planes were on final approach to Runway 4R/22L or 4L/22R. QM1to6Ave Posted June 8, 2014 Share #2 Posted June 8, 2014 Very cool! What kind of modifications (if any) do these planes have for carrying/unloading cargo? Any kind of special internal conveyor belts or something like that, or just a big empty shell inside?
FamousNYLover Posted June 8, 2014 Share #3 Posted June 8, 2014 Excellent picture! I read from Newsday, Long Island residents are not happy with 22L Runaway path route and they said it's alway 3 minutes airplane noise 24-hours 7 days.

Especially since larger aircraft such as the 777, A340, 747, and A380 have to use a very low approach to the shortest runway at JFK. If they're approaching from the north, they have to touch down right after Rockaway Boulevard. It's probably better from over the Rockaways since there is water before the approach.
