TransitJusticeForAll Posted December 3, 2015 Share #1 Posted December 3, 2015 NOTE: THIS IS NOT IN SERVICE AT ALL! THIS BUS WAS USED IN A PRODUCTION FOR SOME SHOW THAT WAS BEING TAPED IN THE JACKSON HEIGHTS AREA. SO, IF ANYONE KNOWS WHAT IS THE NAME OF THE SHOW THAT IS CURRENTLY TAPED IN THE JACKSON HEIGHTS AREA, PLEASE COMMENT BELOW. Anyway, seen here is a 1999 New Flyer C40LF #848 On The M60 @ 83 St & Roosevelt Av in Jackson Heights, Queens "heading" to Astoria Blvd-31 St. I was shocked to see this bus still in exsistence. These older models of the C40FL were put out of service when the 2011-2013 models came around. trainfan22 Posted December 3, 2015 Share #2 Posted December 3, 2015 Nice catch, three of them are still around in ECH storage. I wonder how this bus is still running considering of the whole CNG tanks expiring issue.
