Maybe they need the money, can't afford to miss a day of work, and decide to attempt the trip despite not feeling well. Or like nostalgia said, maybe some are going to the doctor or pharmacy. Well They should analyze thier travel options carefully before leaving home. Thier decisions can cause people to lose thier jobs and miss important events if they are to sick to ride public transportation without causing severe delays. The thing is everybody thinks "These things never happen to me". They don't anticipate that their medical condition will be that bad that they would have to hold up train service to get help.
