via White Plains Road 189 Posted November 16, 2008 Share #2 Posted November 16, 2008 Directions i got: Take 4 Train To 125th Street What other Train Number (Ex:4,6) Do i take from 125th street to get to White plains Newyork? How many stops? Walk one block North which would E. 125th Street and Park Avenue, thats the Harlem-125th Street Metro-North Rail Road station. Purchase your ticket b4 boarding the train and you take the North White Plains train which is on the Harlem Line and its 15 stops
PATCOman 196 Posted November 16, 2008 Share #3 Posted November 16, 2008 Or you can take an express train towards Southeast and that stops at White Plains too.

metsfan 2 Posted November 16, 2008 Share #5 Posted November 16, 2008 Do i get out of the trainstation on 125th Street And find the harlem train? Which do i take uptown or downtown? 125th st on the subway is not connected to the metro north line, you gotta go to street level at 125th then walk a block west to the 125th street metro north train station. There you will board the harlem line train. Hope this makes sense. - A
Jason 0 Posted November 16, 2008 Author Share #6 Posted November 16, 2008 So can i pay with a Metro Card? And i was just on youtube and they were talking about m7,m3 trains and idk what they are, Which one do i take?
metsfan 2 Posted November 16, 2008 Share #7 Posted November 16, 2008 No, you buy a ticket at the metro north station. There will be information boards or screens to tell you which train is harlem line since 125th is on the main line to GCT. Make sure you go on the side that points away from GCT, or you'll end up there vs white plains. The m3/m7 etc is the model of the train cars. - A

Paul P 0 Posted November 16, 2008 Share #13 Posted November 16, 2008 To White Plains from Harlem-125th Street, ticket purchased at the station will cost you: One way peak - 8.75 Round trip peak - 17.50 One way off-peak - 6.50 Round trip off-peak - 13.00 Peak fares are charged for travel to or from Grand Central Terminal or Harlem-125 Street Station. Peak fares apply to weekday trains that arrive in Grand Central between 5 AM and 10 AM and that depart Grand Central between 4 PM and 8 PM. Peak fares are also charged for any weekday trains that leave Grand Central between 5:30 AM and 9 AM. Off-peak fares are charged at all other times during weekdays and all day Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Hope this helps...

It will take longer, but it is only for $2!
DOB2RTO 29 Posted November 21, 2008 Share #15 Posted November 21, 2008 Even though it's the long way, for your $2 you can get the northbound 4 train, take it to the last stop, go downstairs (using the right side staircase), and get the Bee-line 20 or 20X bus, which runs up Central Park Avenue/Central Avenue/RTE 100 (all the same road), and get off. Also you could always get the Bee-Line BxM4C (aka Route 4C), to White Plains. It picks up in Manhattan...........
