It's because they'd rather say it at stations where the stops, because from Franklin on (as I'm sure you probably know), it does say that. I guess "Late Nights, take the to Franklin, then the to Times Sq for service" is too much (not in my opinion). But thanks for paying the Brooklyn IRT its dues (as well as every other place). Looks like the folks at Flatbush Avenue went shopping at the Home Depot, I never saw this storage shed when I used that station on a daily basis.
