transitman Posted July 28, 2014 Share #1 Posted July 28, 2014 Since the renaming of 100th Street to Tuskegee Airman Depot, have any new depot emblems been introduced? Also does anyone have an electronic (jpeg, bitmap or other version) copy of the 1960's "ta" emblem and be willing to post the image? Thanks!! Via Garibaldi 8 Posted July 28, 2014 Share #2 Posted July 28, 2014 There's a Casey Stengel logo that has a different color scheme that looks HORRIBLE. Looks like some kid got hold of the logo and took some crayons and just started coloring in at random. I would've thought that if anything they would've just updated the bus, as the logo and old color scheme was decent...

transitman Posted July 29, 2014 Author Share #5 Posted July 29, 2014 Thanks w8Hou for posting the "ta" image. Does anyone have a copy of the revised Casey Stengel logo that Via Garabaldi 8 mentioned?

Fresh Pond Posted July 30, 2014 Share #8 Posted July 30, 2014 That's not the one VG8 was talking about. It's lighter (alnost peach colored now) and the blue is off ...same with the new QV color, it seems off
w8Hou Posted July 30, 2014 Share #9 Posted July 30, 2014 They probably ran out of color ink.
Rick44 Posted July 30, 2014 Share #10 Posted July 30, 2014 Oh, I haven't seen that. Just the blue colored in as orange. I mean, a lot of the stickers are looking a bit different. The font used in Flatbush Depot's sticker is less bold and maybe a different font all together. Maybe they are modernizing the logos. Manhattanville has a bolder font as well, and it seems the color is fading away, but that could be just color fade from the elements.
transitman Posted September 5, 2014 Author Share #11 Posted September 5, 2014 Considering the last post to my original question was a month ago, I think it's safe to assume that no new logos (excluding minor color modifications) have been added since the renaming of 100th Street. But I have some questions and requests: - Was a logo issued for the Zerega Avenue facility? If so please post. - How about an Amsterdam Bronx Division with an RTS; yes I'm aware of the Orion VII version? Same request. - Does anyone have an image of the Command Center logo, shown on the TTMG website? - Based on the posts, the Casey Stengel logo shown is not the color modified version. Correct? Thanks!!
NewFlyer 230 Posted September 5, 2014 Share #12 Posted September 5, 2014 The Casey Stengel logo on the last page is the modified logo. There is the Amsterdam logo on the TTMG website in the section where it say old bus depot logos.
