Expect to wait longer for ‌(A) trains in both directions in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Expect southbound trains to move at slower speeds going from Midtown Manhattan to downtown Brooklyn while they're rerouted. Alternatives We strongly suggest that you take alternatives between Midtown Manhattan and downtown Brooklyn, where trains are rerouted. But consider alternatives in other areas as well to avoid delays. Manhattan Between 145 St and Chambers St, take nearby trains (and trains between 96 St and Chambers St). For Fulton St, take trains to/from Delancey St-Essex St, where trains are rerouted. Between Manhattan and Brooklyn Take or trains between Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn to avoid delays.
