  4. Yep. Still has the split poles tgough. I've ridden that set on the a few times this year
  5. They were doing some track replacement at Elmhurst Ave on the Manhattan Bound express track and had work trains parked on the other track between Roosevelt and 63rd Drive. Trains ran slow work zone was from Elmhurst Ave to 65th St in both directions. East of Elmhurst and West of 65th were normal. None of the 4 trains I rode today were less crowded than normal (no crowding), and the extra local service always helps
  6. Some (E)s were sent to 2nd Ave, others ran via the to Whitehall
  7. Service Change Posted: 10/21/2015 10:39AM Due to a train with mechanical problems at Lexington Av-53 St, the following service changes are in effect: Southbound trains are running on the line from Jackson Hts-Roosevelt Av to W 4 St-Washington Sq. Metropolitan Av-bound trains are running on the line from 36 St (Queens) to 47-50 Sts-Rockefeller Center. Some Metropolitan Av-bound trains are via the line from Essex St and will then terminate at Chambers St. Expect delays on and train service. Allow additional travel time. This has been going on for an hour. Wonder what happened. Also someone didnt proofread the 3rd paragraph smh
  8. Service Change Posted: 09/27/2015 12:00PM Due to a rail condition at Lexington Av-53 St, the following service changes are in effect: Northbound trains are running on the line from 42 St-Port Authority to 168 St. Northbound trains are terminating at 57 St. Southbound and trains are terminating at Queens Plaza. There is no train service between 42 St-Port Authority and Queens Plaza. There is no train service between 57 St and Queens Plaza. Take the instead. Allow additional travel time. Service Change Posted: 09/27/2015 10:57AM Due to track maintenance between W 4 St-Washington Square and Jay St-MetroTech, some northbound trains are running express from 59 St-Columbus Circle to 125 St. Allow additional travel time. Why would the be running via CPW express? Also that rail condition is gonna cause major problems since n/b 63rd street tunnel is closed
  9. File a claim online and theyll send you a metrocard refund. Thats happened to me before. Takes a couple of weeks, but youll get it back.
  10. 42 Street Shuttle - No trains running trains provide alternate service Weekends, 12:05 AM Sat to 5 AM Mon, Oct 10 - 12 • Oct 17 - 19 Havent seen this before
  11. Due to a rail condition at 5 Av, the following service changes are in effect: There is no 7 train service between Hunters Point Av and 42 St-Times Sq in both directions. Shuttle train service is operating between 42 St-Times Sq and 34 St-Hudson Yards in both directions. LIRR is cross honoring NYCT customers at Flushing (Main St), Woodside and Penn Station. As an alternative customers are advised to use the N or Q train service to and from 42 St-Times Sq. Or Take the E or M at Court Sq, the E, F, M or R at Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Av to and from Manhattan. Allow additional travel time Well at least we get LIRR cross honoring EDIT service has resumed
  12. Yesterday my M just stopped at queens plaza around 850 AM, ended up taking the 7 at QBP. Today I just took the 7 to avoid any issues. Speaking of the 7, thats down between times sq and hunterspoint due to a rail condition, with a shuttle from tsq to 34th. Theres no getting away from the delays lol
  13. 2nd day in a row, signal problems at Queens Plaz are delaying E F M and R trains
  14. Wonder if its related to the rail condition that was there yesterday and today
  15. Took the R going to Manhattan in the morning and the M fron Manhattan just a little while ago. On the R, we were a bit slow on the QBL but nothing major. We spent more time following a slow N/Q through 60th St. The M ran normal coming home, no noticeable difference
  16. Switch problem at Roosevelt Ave is making all Queens bound trains are local Queens Plaza to Roosevelt then express to 71. Odd.
  17. I thought the turning at 2nd ave wouldnt affect the either, at least until my got stuck between 47-50 and 42nd for 15 minutes around 915 this morning. Seems like there was some congestion.
  18. If there is no construction on QB, a four car on QB during the night and weekend to help the or is better than no help at all. It would help riders at the QB local stations to at least travel between the express and local stops
  19. Due to a stalled train, and trains are running with extensive delays in both directions. Allow additional travel time. The subway twitter only says a stalled work train, not where and if there are any service changes
  20. I was on the first F to be rerouted via 53rd going to Queens. They held it at 47-50 for about 10 minutes before going via 53rd unnanounced, and the E and M just stacked behind it. So they probably turned the remaining Ms because the E F and M couldnt fit thru 53rd all at once during the rush
  21. Someone forgot to proofread? Due to track maintenance between Roosevelt Av and Continental Av to Forest Hills-71 Av, trains are running with delays. Allow additional travel time
  22. My R ran normal last night, didnt seem to have any issues getting thru the affected area
  23. No, it announced Court Square. Not sure about Mets though.
  24. Just got on a 188 set. The interior sign on car 7347 says To Main St and announces it in Manhattan as a Queens bound 7 *express train* instead of just a 7 train. Is this a softwate update or an old program? Hopefully they put this on all the 188s
