Ok so if i got called initially back in March (2020) this year, and I got skipped lets say, How long do I have to restore my name to the list +Young+? Is it exacly a year from This past March (2020) to next year March (2021)? OR something else? Please let me know and Thank You in advance!

Ok, so just send DCAS an email and thats it? How will I know that they restored/put my name back to the list? Do I get an email from DCAS or a phone call? And how long does it take?

I called DCAS the automated phone number as of Sunday 12/27/2020 and it says I am on the list for this exam according to the Automated phone recording. I got called back in march of this year (2020) for pre employment drug test, however due to covid i couldnt proceed furthur. In September I got an email from 180 Livingston street if I was still interested in the position, which I am so I replied back that I was along with the documents that they requested; Driver license with CDL class B-P Permit, Birth Certificate, and some other documents. Now quick question, do I still have to restore my name to the list or am I technically on the list according to the automated recording? Thanks in Advance! BTW my list number is in the low 2020s

young, quick question, once they go through this list (7612). Whats going to happen? Will they do away with this list? What about people who dont want to take the job but want to at a later time, like say next year january 2021 for example? Also, this list is still good until October 17, 2022. Thanks in advance.

Another reason to get the CDL on your own so once you pass the 7 day training session, the jobs yours providing you survive the 1 year probabtion.

What did they fail on, the 7 day training, or, the Road test?

I filled out the email from august 2020 asking whoever is interested in the position. Of course i still am, but i want to finish up my CDL Class B license, then i will start the hiring process for this position when they call me. Question, does me being on the list, and outstanding certification mean that im still on the list and I dont have to email or call someone? Thanks in advance. BTW, if anyone is curious whats my list number, its in the low 2000s.

Last year in february of 2019, i was called down to 180 livingston street for this position for pre employment. I took the drug test, filled out the 21 page booklet tht they give you home to complete and bring with you for the second time. I havent heard anything since then and i even called a few times after, i was told to just wait for a phone call. Still, to this date, today, nothing. I just wonder sometimes.

Congrats, great to hear! If you don't mind me asking, where did you do your day 7 qualification? Do you drive on the highway also on day 7 qualification?

What does split a switch mean?

Ok, do you still get seniority preference once you restore your name back to the list? For example, lets say my list number is 500 and theyre up to 850, theyre getting ready to call 851, do i get the contact/phone call first or does 851 get it first?
