  1. He keeps creating an entirely new thread and its been getting repetitive. Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app
  2. Yea good point with Canarsie, whenever some tiny thing goes down, all service is gone. You have trains terminating everywhere and your forced to another line. With 3 tracks, it limits the amount of people affected and reduces the stress on other lines. Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app
  3. Are all 97' units retired because someone deleted that section from wiki? Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app
  4. They both describe it perfectly. You can barely fit on a or train. The Broadway line has its own set of problems with the problem being 3 lines on 1 track and the platform so goddamn narrow. So if one was to wait for either or (N)/(W), if any one train were delayed, the platform is easily overfilled with those passengers. The Broadway line needs way more help than the Lex in any matter. To connect with any train you have to walk down some long staircases and up another flight. Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app
  5. Lol could you imagine SWAT officers piling out of that thing. Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app
  6. Wait, how come the Bx12 has artics and the B46 doesn't? People keep saying there's no demand for it right now but if its the busiest line, then it might as well, you can put them on the local too. Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app
  7. Does ur paper happen to change too when ur train runs a different route? Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app
  8. Yes, its too early to say but preliminary assignments are 30-36 to JG and 74-80 for WF. Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app
  9. But why is there an orion V? I thought they were all scrapped. Or in better words, what purpose does it serve now?
  10. Uhhhh, quick question why do rts'es sometimes go to CP, they have done this before too but they never see service on any CP routes, I guess it's to have work done, but they only have C40LF's so how does maintenance know how to maintain them? 11. Perhaps they're rushing them out because of the new bus orders on the horizon. Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app
  12. Speculation is they are going to manhattan. However, my guess is Mother Clara Hale (MCH) because like the Bx12's the 1200's were removed from SBS. And I think the next 1200's are the M15-SBS, but one thing, they have high mileage so idk if M15-SBS is the best choice.
  13. They're automatically retired if they have faulty wheelchair lifts? ADA rules are so strict. People that use wheelchairs make up a small percentage. Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app
  14. I can't believe there are less 97' units than 96', were they more poorly built? Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app

  17. Maybe someone could go film eastchester scrap yard. Considering gun hill still has 1023 and 1027, did their maintenance improve? Sent from my iPad using NYC Transit Forums mobile app
  18. Quill is thoroughly cleaning out it's older fleet. No more 99' d60hfs and 97-98' RTS for them. Sent from my iPad using NYC Transit Forums mobile app
  19. Yea when they reapply the numbers, sometimes it's so bad. Also, the back of NG#4417 is soooooo bad, was someone absolutely wasted when they applied that. Sent from my iPad using NYC Transit Forums mobile app
  20. They've been updating the signs very frequently on the Q44-SBS, they added a random stop at E177th street and bronx river parkway. Anybody know why they cant cross under the bridge rather than doing the ridiculous u-turn, clearance or is there not enough space due to the merging. 21. Oh that explains the LIRR stopped at sunnyside yards that I saw from the 7 train Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app

Here's an interesting question: Does anybody know why at West Farms sq-east tremont avenue on the and , the very last countdown clock on the southbound side has a different font. Is that a test or something? Sent from my iPhone using NYC Transit Forums mobile app
