Why not? For 57th, I'd be open to making it a 3-track station, if there's room. Is without 63rd (via QB Bridge) better ?(Is the whole idea of a Northern LRT good?)

I was just about to respond to @R32-DTrain that a 12/18 split would work. I think that a College Point line is best as BRT, not LRT. Fresh Meadows should be its own line. Thoughts on which stations should be high-level (or partial-high-level)? Also, is the Siemens S200 the best LRV for this line? @LaGuardia Link N Tra Didn't you propose something similar than this? Thoughts on this plan?

On weekends (or if you are going to Bway), that's a 3-train commute. This would be direct.

Again, 36 Av is only a short section of the route, so it'd be ok. LRT service is faster (and overall, better) than bus service.

What about people going to Northern Manhattan (UWS, specifically)?

It would be a moveable bridge. And, as I said before, THE DOES NOT SERVE NORTHERN ROOSEVELT ISLAND!!!!!! This would provide much needed transit relief to the northernmost part of the island, and provide better North Queens service

The Northern line is LRT. As it'd only be on the island for 5-10 minutes, there's not much of a potential for delays. The Roosevelt LRT is meant to serve as the Upper Manhattan to Roosevelt Link, so any M79 extension would actually end up being a new route from 96/Bway to Roosevelt. That's why I made it LRT with two branches. Any thoughts on where the stations should be?

This is a bus...

The walk from the Octagon to the is almost 25 min. The walk from Southpoint Park to the is 15 min at a brisk pace. Roosevelt Island NEEDS a cross-island BRT or subway, and this is the best option. And the Q102 is NOT SUFFICIENT! It doesn't stop going towards Queens north of Motorgate, and going from Queens, it loops up to the Lighthouse. Also, it runs only every 20-30 mins. (Maybe a Q102 split could work WITH INCREASED SERVICE LEVELS, though - Maybe an extension to Manhattan?)
