  1. 38th Street should be primarily used for the because it is close to its proximity to the yard. This way the could get extra trains and boosted frequencies.
  2. That's your opinion. You don't even see the logistics that this would have on the depots and the bus lines themselves.
  3. The Q50 would be long and unreliable like the B57 & the B62 under this new proposed redesign.
  4. Since the Utica Avenue Subway has proven to be infeasible. The only realistic approach is to extend the to Broadway Junction if you don't believe me look up this article.
  5. If you all don't know where I got the idea from. You can check Reddit
  6. Well's since it's infeasible to build a Utica Avenue Subway even with half the cost which I highly doubt the amount of space that Utica has could fit an elevated structure and by my train extension. Brownsville is at least partially covered by transit than giving them a bus route that does nothing. Europe, China, Japan, & South Korea gets shit done faster than the MTA themselves. Sadly the MTA devolved into the Money Taking Corruption Authority and with corruption running around New York not to mention the Port Authority. This is why these projects are over inflated. If Utica was infeasible which that has been proven already. Then they should have extending the to Broadway Junction & providing a cross borough transit line throughout Brooklyn, Queens, & The Bronx. But no the MTA went with Hochul's bullshit projects that everyone had to choose either the SAS Phase 3 or Grand Central Access. Grand Central Madison has barely seen any major ridership for the past 7 months. Most people are heading to Penn Station. The others that are heading to Wall Street use the Atlantic Terminal which has seen more ridership than the MTA claims it has with their false statistics.
  7. I like how you get triggered very easily. You know your claims have been disproven more than once and you’re still upset over it.
  8. The LIRR is unwilling and is part of the MTA if you didn't understand that clearly. The LIRR even under the MTA would ban Amtrak from allowing to use their trackage if they approved of it. Amtrak does own the Empire Corridor from NYC to Albany and operates under contract to the NYSDOT. CSX only owns a small portion of the trackage which they use for industrial purposes
  9. Now you're just making up bullshit. This is getting even more funny because you work for the MTA and you don't know wtf you are talking about. Long Island isn't going to accept Amtrak's deal because they don't want anything to do with Amtrak to begin with. I don't know where you got this "Everyone from LI rides Amtrak" from but you know it's bullshit
  10. Exactly LIRR will never give up their trackage to anyone. Unless it has something to do with MTA then they'll accept it.
  11. What about the PATH extension to Newark International Airport or an infill station at Kearny. Are both feasible.
  12. The Staten Island Railway is the kid left out of everything in the entire MTA.
  13. SIM Buses are one of the worst things the MTA has ever done all they did was slap a bunch of express buses with a new designation and cut service to important areas in Staten Island. What's even worse is the Staten Island Railway loses 500 million dollars annually which the NYCTA & the NYC Subway have to bail them out to keep their system running. They are the most underfunded division in the entire MTA aside from the buses of course which gain ridership. The major issues with the Staten Island Railway is underfunding and a car shortage crisis even before the budget cuts of 2010. I've seen the stations and a lot of them are deteriorating for nearly the course of a decade by now. What the Staten Island Railway needs is more subway cars, a new maintenance/storage yard, fare gates, and installing proof of payment machines if fare gates aren't feasible for all stations. The R44s never performed that bad on the line though which is it's only saving grace since this line is a shadow of its former self.
  14. That would screw over capacity on the trains that Ronkonkoma Express & Montauk Trains run per hour by adding 4-5 Amtrak trains. What you should be "worried about" is how many people are going to ride Amtrak in Long Island. It's probably less than 10,000 people while everyone else in Nassau & Suffolk Counties use the LIRR.
  15. I'm not even angry. This is becoming a total shit show with fantasy proposals out of the ass. I'm debunking and making a total mockery out of the bullshit everyone wants.
  16. I don't trust any of these environmental and feasibility reports anyway. Most if not all they say are full of shit.
  17. Do you not see the logistics that prevent a Utica Avenue subway from being built. In my fantasy ideas this would happen but no. I'm a realist, Most feasibility reports are bullshit like what you just said with the RBB and the SAS and I agree with. On the other hand Utica's logistics would lead to an inflated price including the NIMBYs who don't want to see any subway service in their neighborhood. Nostrand Avenue isn't surrounded by any swamps or lakes so this case doesn’t even apply to them. The least you can give Utica Avenue is light rail and even that comes with its expenses too. Brownsville is also another transit desert too. Should we just cut them out of the equation and build a line that parallels Nostrand & Flatbush Avenue? Sure we should do that. Even if Utica was feasible it would just be treated like another dinky shuttle anyway. Another thing is the water levels prevent the Utica Avenue Subway from being constructed and even if you used eminent domain to build an elevated structure. NIMBYs aren't going to appreciate that anyways. I bet we should also ignore the water level since that won't matter if it ends up flooding the tunnels.
  18. You are not even seeing the logistics of inter running Amtrak services into Long Island. All that would do is cause more congestion at Jamaica. Two factors are the cost of operation and how many people will use the Amtrak services in LI, Only a few thousand compared to hundreds of thousands of people who are heading to Penn Station.
  19. Utica is a dumb option it deprives the line of transfers, The only transfers you'll get is the IBX and the B82. The environmental reports even proved that this shit isn't economically feasible due to potential flooding if they were constructing the line. Thank god it got cancelled. The least Utica can get is LRT like Streetcars to replace the buses if the neighborhoods & the city approved of this. Which is not going to fly by NIMBYs btw. The realistic approach is Broadway Junction via Eastern Parkway since the tail tracks are already there for a possible expansion of the IRT.
  20. Despite the fact it parallels the future IBX aka the Train we can still add an express variant of the B7 it's the least you can do since SBS has proven not to work on most buses in the city like the B46, B82, M14A/D, M23, M34A, M79, M86, Bx41, Q44, Q52, Q53, & the LaGuardia Link Q70 Select Bus Service. I do have to say SBS should be renamed asap. SBS is only necessary in order to provide express service on congested corridors.
  21. I don't disagree with all of your bus changes. All you have to do is increase the frequencies of the 7 by using buses from ENY and Flatbush Depots. The B7 is there to alleviate loads from the 46 and the 47. I would cut the B7s route to Bed Stuy and let the 7 terminate at Eastern Parkway and extend the route to Bensonhurst then call it a day.
  22. Aren't you still cutting vital access to Flatlands and East Flatbush again you don't want service cuts though you would cut a vital route anyway.
  23. I would propose a Z Train extension to JFK Airport via Conduit Blvd & the Belt Parkway/Nassau Expressway if feasible if not the line would end at Cross Bay Blvd Q52 & Q53, Aqueduct North Conduit Avenue or the Lefferts Blvd AirTrain Station. The line would be entirely elevated.
