  1. Heh, I stopped buying the zords after zeo. pyramidas was just too big and i just stuck with the megazords. The lightspeed train looked neat, but in the end i didn't bother to get that either. I probably could use a new red dragon thunderzord since the 'leg' broke and I had to buy a cheap dragonzord from chinatown to complete the original ultrazord.
  2. :edited: Misread the post and thought the Novas were exclusively going to SI depots. Nm.... = :so I don't waste another post: I agree, I like the RTSs there. I don't want there to be more NGs. Send them to GA and let them displace their RTSs.
  3. Saw that bus NIS going down Flatbush Av today. Dunno if it was said already, but I believe saw 9645 on the B41 as well. 9491 [yes been here for some time now], I saw in the depot. - I must be lucky lol.
  4. Right, that's true. Yeah, but the R62As made more sense at the moment since they can be arranged in 11-car trains. The R142/As you have to break up a set and leave a few cars left over [taking 3 cars each from two 5-car sets and leave 2 cars from each leftover]. This R188 order will allow for some singles to be inserted into an existing set so you can have 11-car trains.
  5. Not so much the needed them, but the line couldn't handle the R142s due to the voltage [i think]. Also R62As had singles which made it easier to arrange into 11-car sets. Although I believe it was intended to be two 5-car sets and a single before it was one 5-car and 6 singles.
  6. Yeah, true. Then again the goes to New Lots late nights and GOs when the doesn't run. So either way R142s will end up there whether it would be the or . I was very shocked when I saw pics of R62s on the . Back in 2003 when I was starting my railfanning thru the city, I sorta chased/looked out for the R62s on the . It was by chance/accident I found one at 96th when I was waiting for a .
  7. yeah that's true. still, I take it personally when idiots like that kid nearly derails my photo threads. little pos posting shit in all of them. I'd like to block him if it were possible.

  8. lol yeah, but the problem is his words makes no sense. I feel dumber just quoting him. Damn, I wished the mods would just ban that idiot.

  9. The rollsigns are probably the only good thing about the R110B. Otherwise, who cares? 60' car trains are better than 67'. There's no need for odd numbered cars when you can have evens [excluding the 7 and the TS S].
  10. Other than if the 1/9 switched cars, it was basically the same thing -set north south terminals. The 6 has two distinct northern terminals. Plus I think originally it was always going to be the 2 and the 6 getting new trains from the start. Now regarding the 3 and 4, the 3 was supposed to get the R142s, but then they decided to bump off the R62s from the 4 to the 3 and give the 4 the R142s. For a demanding line like Lexington Av, the R142s are better suited than the 20+ year old R62s. Plus the 3 being a part time line would be less 'stressful' for the R62s.
  11. Huh? During when [past or present]? I'm not following what you mean.
  12. Exactly, if [you] want to quit, just disappear. Making a spectacle out of quitting diminishes any credibility.
  13. man what a week, i appreciate any feedback about subchat. I thought i was going to be solo on that rant there in the random thoughts thread. And damn what a day with the shopping kart kid. What a thread... Sad part is he is still posting and even more nonsense now. Worse is he still has no shame about the shopping kart. Kid needs serious therapy.

  14. Ok then, so wait and see. Why send R62s back to the ? It's not like you can interchange parts from an R62 and an R142A. The only thing they share is they were built by the same company. I already told you the has enough R62s to cover its service needs and the being such a demanding line would be hell on the doors. Even some trains have jammed doors every now and then. That would be worse when they return back on the . Why burden yourself about a possibility that won't happen? So again take your own advice and wait and see. Yeah, I always thought the R62As did pretty well when they were on the , so it should be fine. Good to know.
  15. True, but he and Oren aren't on my 'list'. They are ok despite sticking up for TS. Lol, forget about changing the title, how about being called out for making a duplicate thread when another exists like it's a sin to have a 2nd thread? [shame they can't change/edit there like sites like this can.] Yup, just stay away from ot chat and for the most part the other forums are ok - unless it's 'check your e-mails' that same shit over and over again...
  16. Oren.. not too bad, but I understand. Kew G, not too sure - I wouldn't lump him in that list. Yup. Totally true. Probably one of the worst ones there especially how the government should do this or that... There was a guy, called Roninbayside, that would've kept him in check.
  17. I know Subcrap is off limits, but the more I think of it there's a guy that's probably as bad, if not worse than Deuchebag station; and that's his patsy/stooge Spider Pig or morris. I swear that piehole always has to be critical of me over the smallest things. He can rot in hell. As for the Deuchebag, I feel sorry for his kid when his father acts like such a child. How his wife puts up with him is beyond me.... An Online 'Hyde' behavior is no excuse for his Jekyll in person persona.
  18. Hem, well I guess it maybe the yard then... that said we will see how Westchester does when they [presumably] get the R62As back. I do hope the R142As that are converted are also fixed up before being sent to the .
  19. I don't think the will be 100% R62As since the will be getting the R188s as well and has less cars than the does. So if anything there will still be some R142s around. This would be even better than the redbird days. But the R142s from the and lines have undergone some sort of maintenance, when have the R142As been given the same fix up? If anything the ones on the are due for a tune up. Perhaps. But it could also be the trains. Westchester wasn't this bad when it was mostly R62As. [At least from what I remember.] Yep...
  20. Perfectly stated! That pretty much supports my theories as well. , those would be the main two lines that would be the best candidates for the R62As. Everything else about the ES Riders is way overblown. Who cares what those [elitist] people think. They can take a cab if they don't like the 'old' trains so much.
  21. Lol, it's laughable how that poster is still here. All he ever does is post one liners and never comes back to back what he says.
  22. R160s to the was so the can run 10-car trains. Otherwise the would've had R46s. R142s have the same amount of doors as the R62As. So I still don't see why everyone is thinking the ESRiders are going to have that big of a say on what goes where. Why would the MTA want to go back to using rollsigns that eats up time at the terminal if they were to swap trains? It makes no sense. Stopping short of inserting those LCDs from the R44s onto the R62As, nothing will make changing signs faster than with the R142s. 2 train: I did say there could be some swaps on the Lex, but I think it would come down to the and - depending on which R142As gets sent out first [youngest to old or vice versa]. Either way I think the will have all the R142As on the mainline so all the Kawasaki cars are consolidated on one line. R142s will likely be bumped over to the to fill the gap. http://www.thejoekorner.com/carassignments/irt-2010-12-12.html
  23. I think the makes the most sense imo, and I think others here needs to calm down about what goes where. The 9-car train part was a real wtf. These R188s will mean a surplus of cars, why would the need to go back to just 9 again?
