I went by the WC today, it still looks the same just they look the WC label off of the place and its clearly closed, could be renovation as there's this WC in the BX that was torn down completely and now there rebuilding it. @ GC, yes those types of Fried Chicken Joints.

I love to get 6 Piece Hot wings with Fries from those places, and on occupation, fried fish with fries. 2 or 3 Piece Chicken with those little Mash and Coleslaw FTW. :cool:

The White Castle in the Junction is closed now. :cry: I miss the Wendy's @ the Junction area that was inside the Popeye's store, The heath dept closed it IIRC, Wendy's left, but the Popeye's stayed. I'm also bummed about the lack of fried chicken joints here in Flatbush, I mean the non Popeyes ones, there use to be one on Flatbush & Farraget but it was only opened for a few months and then closed. I like the Foster and Flatbush one next to be B8 stop, but I don't like to eat there though, I'm solely take out with that one. At times I like eat @ the restruant when I'm about to go somewhere rather go home and eat it or eat it on Transit. There's one between Glenwood and Farraget on Nostrand but that little block is like beyond ghetto lol. As for FF restaurants I like.... Mcd White Castle Burger King Wendy's All the Chain Pizza stores Roy Rogers Popeye's Chinese Food Those smaller Fried Chicken which is some black neighborhoods, you see em all over the place lol, and I'm not talking about Popeye's or KFC ethier, I don't pay attention to the names on em, like Chinese food restaurants.

This past Saturday I finally seen the Cummins service center in The Bronx. I found it by mistake actually, I was riding the Q44 and happen to glance over and saw it. The lot is filled up with MTA OG/NG hybrids, some Nova Artics and Bee - Line NABIs, there was a LOT of buses there, I guess that explains why I see MTA buses @ the Cummins center in Newark. I Heard that CAT has a service center in The Bronx too, I'm curious to see it lol. I think the DD one is in Ronkonma, I doubt its within walking distance of the train station though. Working at these diesel engine service centers sounds like a lot of fun from a outsider, dig in Buses and Trucks guts all day, wooo! :cool:

Coming home, I find myself ditching the B8 @ 86th Street walk down a few blocks to take the B6 home more and more.... The B8 blows in the afternoon, it hits this hellish traffic on 18th Ave near the train. Yes, the B6 hits traffic between Ocean Parkway and E16th Street, but its much more bareble than the 18th Ave traffic. I also I hate the bustime ish on the B63, due to that fact that it uses a dedicated fleet of VII CNGs for the B63.... Which equals less VIIs on the other Gleason routes, a VII CNG is just as rare as a V CNG SMH. Its gets boring riding C40s all the time, prior, it was a nice mix between the VIIs and the NF with a V CNG once in the blue moon. :mad:

^^^^ I was the one that started that thread on BC! :cool: Anyways, I wonder if they really are refitting the Hybrids @ FLA with camaras, the two buses I saw sure looked like they had camaras in the front, I saw the 4200 up close on the B49 and could'nt tell If I saw actual camaras inside the bus or knobs on the bars, but I know fo shaw I saw a stange looking thing in the windshield of these buses that looks like a camara. Would make sense, RTSs are getting old and the company that made the cams went outta business.

Man, I hope these cars have that style of FIND the PA5's have, that shows commercials, five day weather forecasts, the temperature, etc + R160 FIND would be awesome, shouldn't be that hard to do, just add a second screen to the FIND and a few cosmetic changes and it would look hot! :cool: Can't wait for these trains to come, esp if they put some of them on the line.

Most of the old C40LF have the huge ass MTA logo on them in the front.

I doubt they would re label the bus and put CP stickers on if it was there solely for training. And CP fleet age is older if you only count the CNGs, CP fleet is 97-99, Gleason 99/2000 and the VII's that came a few years later..

I agree, and besides, the inner city neighborhoods certainty do have snot nosed A holes.... Hoodrats... those woman are just as nasty and rude as these so called snot nosed A holes from the nicer neighborhoods, this is coming from someone who lives in Flatbush if it matters lol.

I had my first bus accident this morning lol. My B8 had a fender bender with a fairly new Cadillac Escalde, minor accident. It was quite funny as this older little dude was driving the Cadi and was livid at the B/O, I mean dude went nuts. I was sitting in the back so I couldn't hear what he was saying. The stupidity of the middle age woman that ride on the B8 kinda ruined the LOLS of the moment though. The dude that was driving the Cadi walked along the side of the bus and this dumb ass woman on the bus bangs on the glass and barks at him... Not actually bark at him like a dog per se, but give him a piece of her mind even dude couldn't even hear her. B/O lets the customers off and everyone checks the damage (There was nothing major TBH, the Cadi might need cosmetic work it was a white SUV and the bus's bumper made contact with the SUV) another B8 was right behind it, one of the middle age woman is now going ham on the driver of the Cadi, dude was just sitting in his SUV with his head down... kinda felt sorry for him. I had the B/O coming home today from work (With a different bus) and dude is clear from any drama I guess. ... Point is why don't people mind there own business? Also I still got to work on time so I wasn't even mad. :cool:

Maybe it was a loaner, I remember a ZF came back to FLA a while back months after UP had all of them... then it went back to UP.

Forgot to post this yesterday.... but 9644 was seen by me on the B41 w/ FLA stickers yesterday. So its still at FLA unless it got transferred today lol.

Man, why do middle age woman change their seat so damn much during the course of one bus ride? There be like 3 to 4 times in one trip where a woman changes her seat on the bus... several woman do this... its so annoying. What makes it more annoying is they carry a shitload of bags with them, I mean WTF is in those bags that you have to bring all that ish with you to work everyday!?! I'm riding on a SRO B8, I'm standing on the HF section of the bus (C40LF), person sitting in front of me gets off, I'm about to sit down and then this effing middle age black woman throws her dumbass bags in the seat in front of me and sits there! She already had a seat in the rear row, and I was standing front of the inward facing seats, she throws her bag there and sits there, I mean WTF? I posposely sat next to that broad just to annoy her rather than sit at the rear seat she just got out of. I got burned this morning and was late to work due to the driver relief showing up late smh, with Original B/O calling supt and all that jazz. Man I hate the B8 bus, I'm glad I got photos of it in my collection I can print them out and burn them lol.

I got a VII CNG on both trips on the B8 today. The ride in the AM the rear vent was open... the outside sound + Inside sound acceleration at once = Foamtastic! There was also four VIIs back to back on the B11 today. Feels good man. :cool:

5105 is the first LED bus, which is still in service at UP. Interesting that 8053 is at UP, that's only several buses away from QV batch (8060 and up)
