they got rid of it because a bus operator died in that bus and jfk said the bus is jinxed but they got it back.

They Are not going to change the propullsion systems, The R188's are B and C cars, eventhough I think the C cars are singles and they still make the AdTranz propullsion sytem

From what a TA source told me the MTA has to pay for these cars due to the feds being fed up with the MTA and their bullshit but anything can change. But they are trying award a contract by april, and the MTA does not have the money so we will see what will happen
