  1. yeah because of their damn weight and issues, but we know they aren't going anywhere, they aren't bad cars, the R68A's have brake issues, that was the TA's falt, not kawasaki's they modified the brakes and it made them horrible, the R68's on the other hand are good
  2. @ the subway station, when did i say the R68's were retiring, I said that that CI wants (or should i say planning) to put the R160's on the because of the mileage, they don't want the R160's breaking down at a horrible rate yet, meaning they want to lay off running the R160's to the ground since they are the older models from 2005-08 and the reason why you see layed up R32's due to the fact that the dispacthers don't wanna deal with the sign changing and on top of that the crew complains about the R32's hence why the R46's looks like they need rest, last year they ran the R32's more than the 46's, but im starting to see that change, and on top of that the A/C issues THATS why they are layed up, The R46's Should HAVE NEVER went to the in the first place, the should have gotten those Option Order II R160's (9803-9942) batch, they could have resolved that issue Ive been studying trains since I was very small, so I have knowledge of whats going on with trains, the r46's are having big time issues on the right now, every night i see one getting taken OOS or deadheading to pitkin yard to be shopped, the R44's may have been a peice of shit but they did a way better job than the R46's and hence dan is a MTA c/r so obviously hes stating the truth based on what i said we are at a point where all subway cars are beginning to drop like flies due to that a**hole walder laying off people, if that didn't happen, the subway cars would have been much more reliable than now

  4. yeah but the only difference is that the R44's were alot worse, jamaica took good care of these R46's, but thats their problem, im starting to believe the R32's might outlast the R46's if this is a big issue

I FREAKING KNEW IT!!!!, and I told alot of people that the R46's are having Issues, But noo everyone wants to bash the R32's and the crew on the always wants an R46, and the dispacther always takes an R32 to lay up, the Rockaways are messing those cars up if they are rusting, the R46's on the are fine, the issue is that the line runs the R46's too much, But as for this R32 set, HELL NO let ENY keep it, WE need our service, people don't realize 207th and pitkin has taken equipment from both jamaica and ENY because of this retarded swap and ENY is short as hell right now PLUS the issues with the line is making it worse, but you see when people think oh the R46's are better than the R32's i just laugh not because they are my favorite (i also like the R46's) but because how management likes to run the line

I saw it in ENY today, here's 3 options ether it Goes to 207th and sits or it goes directly to CI for SMS or it just stays at ENY for (J)/(Z) service or just to get ENY ready for that type of equipment if they wanted to remove the graffiti they would have sent the 4 cars, not 8 full cars, to be honest, I think thats ENY's train set and they were just keeping it on hold, 207th doesn't really need it they have more than enough, btw 4838/9 is back in running shape, saw it moving around ENY today and IT MOVED on its own power, i knew nothing was wrong with the train, people were too quick to say its a scrap train, obviously its not, just one of the surplus cars Ive heard the same for like 2 years, i know why they want to do this IF they do it

I don't get these moves at all, but i knew the NG's were gonna go to ENY, ive said that 2 years ago, what I think what they are gonna wind up doing is giving all the 96 Nova's to MTA bus by the end of this year, most of them would go to LGA first to replace thier Bee-Line orion V's, BP has a chance of getting some RTS back as well, meaning Jamaica depot would ether get More NG's,RTS or get the OG's from CS or QV, ive seen OG's from QV being Maintained (mostlikely trainned) in jamaica depot numerous times so it wouldn't be a big shock, or even Orion V's (orion V's were at Jamaica depot before, Ive seen it for myself, They just never used them (they got sent back) , I know CS is gonna get more Artics in the fall because the MTA wants the Q44 100% Artics in the fall, and i know CS is not gonna give up most of its Orion V's so Jamaica might see something wierd as well as QV

  11. 3525 was from FR, 3523 is the only original BP hybrid besides 3766-83, to me that mileage crap is bullshit, these were well maintained buses and they were sent to a Garbage Dump and they gave us their garbage in return, i rode 3503 on the Q52 and the bus has missing pieces in the drivers area, its ashame how Basiley Park gets F(&cked over all the time, that swap was like 2006 when they took ALL of our good RTS and gavel us 8000's but watch those 3500's are gonna comeback once they are all tore up

Baisleys are good, But they need to go and to me it wasn't a good idea to buy a Orion V to replace 1994 TMC's that were in way better shape than these pieces of junk, Bee-line took care of these, the Streets of NYC tore them up, they need to go bottom line, RTS need to come back to BP ASAP or D6HF's (those are the top two replacements) as of this moment
  13. so their RTS are gonna most likely head to LGA or BP to knock out their ex Bee Lines, those 6000's can make their way to JFK as well to bump some of their RTS off to LGA or BP, BP is short 2-3 buses
  14. the SMS'ed R32's have a shinny truck with new motors, and for the Springs the 60' SMEEs only use the Black Springs, the Blue Springs are for the R46 and R68/A's only, the Yellow ones are for the R62/A's only
  15. The CS arctics are at various depots because the themoking Nova LFSA's are having issues with their HVAC's like one person posted earlier, they are just there on loan, i saw 8866 on the Q17 this afternoon so 8866 is at Jamaica, orion V 5969 was on the Q60 earlier i got a pic of it
  16. The R42's need work, too bad the TA does not want to SMS them, hopefully that would change, but they look really horrible

The R44's needed to go point blank, I rode em, they bodies were shot, the SIRT ones also need to go, Ive seen a picture of the R44's frame, It had NO FRAME LEFT due to rotting, the made the right choice sending the whole fleet bye-bye, as for the R42's its Unknown what they are gonna do with em, I keep hearing they want them gone by the time the R32 SMS is complete, To me that wouldn't be a smart move, if there is talk of extending the , unless that ideas is thrown out , if they need a train they would use a 10 car R32 or R42 for the and they would put a paper in the T/O cab stating this is a 10 CAR train until they lay it up after a round trip.

  19. they swapped that set, they sent a bad set back to ENY and ENY sent another R42 set back to 207th, so yes theres 2 sets again

Do you ride the train on a daily basis, I know because when I used to ride the train during the day, service be jacked Up due TO EQUIPMENT PROBLEMS!!! , when they send 's to lefferts and Far Rock, thats because of a stalled train, back then the was 100% R46's, the R46's are overused trains, I ride the R46's on the and they run and should like shit, I ride the R46's on the (F)/® lines they run Much better, and Im always gonna say this the needs R160's , that power issue can be fixed, don't get me wrong sometimes the R32's have issues too on the but not as much as the R46's,if the had the R160's with R32's or R46's the wouldn't be a problem, ever since the R46's became a household on the they drop like flies, have dead motors and brake problems, so I'm telling you how i see this with my own two eyes and trust me plenty of people who work the line can agree, the R46's aren't doing well as everyone thought it would, it has nothing to do with me liking the R32's, People need to see the facts, The R32's have Always been more reliable than the R46's, the R46's have been though 2 Major SMS's already in 2003-04, and late 2008-2010, the R32's have had one Major SMS in 2001-04 (floor replacement, Truck work , HVAC work and etc.) SMS,2006-7 (truck work Phase I's only) and 2011-12 (truck and HVAC work as well as door work)
  21. @ the subway station, the R32s are 10 time more reliable than the R46s, even before the SMS they ran better than the R46s, the R46s are overused subway cars, the ones at jamaica perform better than the ones on the A, before the R32s made its return to the A the A always had equipment problems, this is why I think they should have fixed that problem and put the R160s on the A, the R46s are better for the C due to the fact they don't run as much, the R46s don't do well on the A, they run like shit, last year in the summertime they ran 6-8 R32s during the overnight hours, this year I counted 3-4 during the overnight, it is what it is, so instead of being mr know it all, listen to the facts on why I just said what I said
  22. The R46's run like shit on the , the R46's are unreliable and overused, thats why they have had problems, ever since the R32's popped up on the the has been much better, and the is better with the R46's, BTW ANOTHER R42 was sent BACK to ENY, that Leaves 1 Trainset
  23. Spring Creek is gonna loose all of its Hybirds to LGA, JFK, FR and maybe BP, JFK just got like 4 Hybirds from SC, so the More Orion V's go to SC, the More Hybirds go to those depots i mentioned above not to mention the 3G Orions should be coming soon
  24. 10 R42's went back to ENY, saw it last night back at ENY yard
  25. Orion V 175 will be heading to Eastchester scrap, I saw it in BP lot with parts missing, i wonder whats gonna replace it
