    It wouldn't make sense for them to say the list is expired; obviously it's a glitch. Since I live outside of NYC, what is NY 511? I don't think anyone has been called off the OC List yet; nothing has been posted in The Chief.

    RTO, my list number is in the 50s, and I have not heard anything yet, nor have I received anything in the mail. I called DCAS today, and as of Sunday, no one has been called from the list, according to the computerized mailbox system thingy.

    That would be great. I wonder if there's a surprise in my mailbox when I get home; my number on 8098 is in the 50s. Dave, how could they do a mixed Promo/OC Class? I assume they split the class?

    I love my iPhone 4s. Used to have a Blackberry; got bored. I used to have a Nextel; when Sprint bought them, I switched. I love the unlimited Data Plan. Plus, I get a 25% discount from one of my employers. To the RTO employees: Obviously, using your phone while operating is a big no-no; how about in crew rooms or sitting on board?

    As has been stated NUMEROUS times on these forums, the Promotional List, 8562, must be exhausted first before they start hiring off of 8098. From The Chief, printed today: TRAIN OPERATOR —279 eligibles between Nos. 195 and 833 on List 8562 for 60 jobs at NYC Transit.

    OTJ, but not in NYC. Worked in Newark, NJ for 3 years, and now I'm in Eastern Pennsylvania until I get the call for 8098.

     

    I worked SIUH (21W1) 2002-2005 and per-diem LMC (40W and 40X).
