I would play it safe and take pics from off path property like the overpasses. I have taken some pics of the stations only because there was no one there, but not worth the trouble of trying to avoid the pa cops. the ban is stupid.

I've filmed in front of the cameras and in front of the conductors, but that was when the PA-1-PA-4 sets were still out there in service.
