Brighton Local 703 Posted December 9, 2007 Share #1 Posted December 9, 2007 Afternoon Members. As some of you were aware, I've been away at school in Arizona since mid-September; now that my semester has ended, Im back in New York for the time being. Heres some "Breaking The Ice" stuff , from this morning. The Brighton Line with some Coney Island thrown in, on this Chilly Sunday Morning. My Favorite shot on this set: --->Zach<---

Brighton Local 703 Posted December 10, 2007 Author Share #5 Posted December 10, 2007 Thanks Boys... Thanks for the welcome back Busfan:D cold here though hehe Anyways, Ocean Parkway I see is still going under some major reconstruction. The platform edges and tops are all broken up, and looks like will be re-concreted too. The Express tracks Are in fact laid down and cemented in photos 2 and 3. However, in photo 4, we still can observe that the tracks over the Brighton El, and into Ocean Parkway have not yet been laid. I believe they still must paint the top of the el in that area. Otherwise its coming along great, and boy those 60 foot cars make ALOT of noise while traveling over the concrete viaduct. Even though 95% of the newly reconstructed local tracks have been welded, those R40M'S rumble extremely loud through the station, I missed that noise though;) -->Zach<--
