Tips on Future Rail+Bus Fan Trip

Recommended Posts

I was wondering where and what time is good for fan trip for everyone?

1. Weekends.

2. When both public/private schools are closed. Like Spring Recess, Summer.

3. What time is good time for everyone. Around 8am, 9am, 10am?

After I get answer, I put my future idea here.

You should make it when there is a break from school (Winter break is coming up, starting December 24th until January 3rd), like during the weekend. Also, 10AM would be more feasible for most since many do not want to get up at 6AM like on a regular school day, just to make it to a fan trip.

I might recover from cold on Dec. 19th.

I plan to do Spring Recess and Summer Vaction, well as Dec. 27th Sunday.

Maybe January might be good.

The next school break after that is on the 3rd week of February.

December 19th is still two weeks away. Are you taking medicine 3-4 times a day? That way you'll feel better much much faster.

Yes, I'm taking 3 times per meal. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner because cold is making hungry.

I usually don't get hungry on Breakfast too much.

I recommend you read this thread: http://www.nyctransitforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11486. That thread should be stickied.

As for the bus engines, back in the day when I busfanned, it was a treat to hear those Bee-Line Flxibles in the fall or spring when the a/c was not on. Since Green Lines and Triboro's a/c's hardly worked, I usually busfanned them any time of year.
