From today's Nostalgia train

Here are a few images from the Arnine fantrip today. I couldn't quite get the hang of my camera's flash and most of the external shots came out dark and blurry. I was left with internal shots, car numbers and rollsigns.

Nice photos MAA89, I suggest you use Auto-Setting without flash if you are using a Point&Shoot. These seems a little bit dark, and you are using flash, :P.

Thanks! I'll take your advice, if I can figure out how to turn the flash off.

Nice pixs! Try to remove the flash to improve the pics!

Overall good stuff!

Thank you!

Haha I was hanging out in car 381!

Really? I am sure I was in 381 for some time as well (I moved through the entire train since the doors between cars were open; seemingly the "no walking between cars" rule was suspended). I do not know anyone on this forum first hand so couldn't identify.

Wonderful shots!

Thanks a lot!

Very good photographs you have there. Gotta turn off the flash though...

Thank you very much.

Yeah, I know. I was on a bus to Boston a month ago and was sitting in the first seat on the upper level when I decided to take some pictures of the road ahead; those too were spoiled by the flash going off. I finally managed to tame the camera and turn the flash off yesterday night. Hopefully my next fan trip will go better.

(1)575 Yes Sir :tup:Nice (M) yo what time was you there?

Hey KnightRider! Thanks!

I was at 2nd Avenue for the 2:30pm train, took it to Queens Plaza and back, and also on the 4pm train out of 2nd Avenue and the 4:45pm out of Queens Plaza (i.e. the last two round trips of the day). Were you there all day?

Here is a couple of pictures of car number 1575:

I also had over a hundred shots of ads and notices inside the cars, here's a few that I liked best:

Wonder what happened to "Dr. Ray Jing"

A couple of French tourists who got on board found this very amusing (don't know whether they were from Paris).

Nice shots man! I wish I could've made it there yesterday, but it's okay. I hope you had a good time.

Thanks! I enjoyed myself. I feel sorry you couldn't go on the fantrip. There's always next time.;)

Nice pics!

Thank you very much!
