Blue Stripe on Subway Cars

Recommended Posts

Why did the MTA remove their signature "blue stripe" from subway cars. I think that it looked great on the R44's / 46's originally. (A)(F)(G)(R)(V)

We can't forget about the (C) & the (JFK).

I think the blue stripe was made of carbon steel, which is why they removed it during GOH.

It was removed in the R46 and painted over in the R44.
