Forest Glen Posted April 24, 2010 Share #8 Posted April 24, 2010 False. This was one isolated incident. Prince George County is known for drugs and gangs. Montgomery and Fairfax Counties (other suburban areas the Metro serves) are much nicer.

Forest Glen Posted April 24, 2010 Share #10 Posted April 24, 2010 NE sucks, NW is better. NW is almost like the Upper East Side.
Grand Concourse Posted April 24, 2010 Share #11 Posted April 24, 2010 It's not like it can't happen there - basically "why the need to apologize for it?" It shows this type of shit can happen anywhere. I mean here there's been two stabbings recently in Manhattan on the and lines. Hardly 'high crimes' areas. WMATAtoNYCTA Posted April 25, 2010 Author Share #12 Posted April 25, 2010 NE sucks, NW is better. NW is almost like the Upper East Side. I'm from NE and it doesn't suck. well for the most it doesn't.

WMATAtoNYCTA Posted April 25, 2010 Author Share #15 Posted April 25, 2010 What the hell was the point of that fight for? Their was a club function that let out near the station. So how these two beefing crews saw each other and started to fight. didn't see much Police or Security there? Yea I'm surprised, I wonder where the station attendant was at when this all happened. But this did take place at like 1am, so chances he/she was in the bathroom or in one of the back rooms or walking the platform. Who knows.
WMATAtoNYCTA Posted April 25, 2010 Author Share #16 Posted April 25, 2010 NE sucks, NW is better. NW is almost like the Upper East Side. oh yea NW isn't so good either east of Rock Creek Park, the areas around the stations on the green line aren't oh so sweet either, aren't there MS-13 in Columbia Heights? Thought so.
Forest Glen Posted April 25, 2010 Share #17 Posted April 25, 2010 Columbia Heights is on the border between NE and NW. I was referring to areas like Georgetown and Dupont Circle.
WMATAtoNYCTA Posted April 25, 2010 Author Share #18 Posted April 25, 2010 Columbia Heights is on the border between NE and NW. I was referring to areas like Georgetown and Dupont Circle. How is Columbia Heights on the border of NE/NW when its main corridor is 14th Street and North Captiol Street (which divides NE/NW) is about 17 long blocks away? But anyways, yea Georgetown, Dupont Circle, Logan Circle, Tenlytown, Friendship Heights, Spring Valley, Palisides, Cleveland Park, Woodley Park, Chevy Chase Circle and Glover Park are the nicest areas of D.C. Infamous85 Posted April 29, 2010 Share #19 Posted April 29, 2010 False. This was one isolated incident. Prince George County is known for drugs and gangs. Montgomery and Fairfax Counties (other suburban areas the Metro serves) are much nicer. Not all of it. Isn't it a very rich county? Lol @ that video, reminds me of Jamaica Center at 4 PM. Forest Glen Posted April 29, 2010 Share #20 Posted April 29, 2010 That's a myth. It's allegedly the richest majority-black county in America. However, it's basically a higher-class Hempstead.
