error46146 Posted May 29, 2010 Share #1 Posted May 29, 2010 Took these two photos back when I went up to Canada last year. Always found these buses to be very interesting - how do they work like that with two cars?? (if you think about it its almost like a train on tires lol)

MTR Admiralty Posted May 29, 2010 Share #5 Posted May 29, 2010 Nice catch. I like the design of the doors, but the design itself really sucks. I think it is used more for like airport shuttles and surface "people movers" (park shuttles and such), judging by its given capacity. I think they have a hook between the vehicles. It is kind of like the Tourmobile vehicles in DC.
theaveragejoe Posted May 29, 2010 Share #6 Posted May 29, 2010 You better head up to Niagara Falls Canada with in the next 12-16 months as NPC is looking at replacing these buses

TransitStop Posted May 30, 2010 Share #9 Posted May 30, 2010 [ Quote ]Took these two photos back when I went up to Canada last year. Always found these buses to be very interesting - how do they work like that with two cars?? (if you think about it its almost like a train on tires lol) well these buses can operate with or without a trailor, because the front half with the drivers seat is the one with the engine. so if it has a trailer thats all it is lol a trailer. These " buses" are called People movers and they are mainly used to transport people to the many tourist attractions in Niagara falls.
error46146 Posted May 31, 2010 Author Share #10 Posted May 31, 2010 so the front half pulls the back half? interesting i thought since its like a train both halves would be operational

MTR Admiralty Posted May 31, 2010 Share #12 Posted May 31, 2010 This looks like a Disney World monorail... Why is it so pointy? That's what she said Actually it really does look like the Disney monorail, just without the rail.
