Here it is. The R-62 (NOT R-62A) (1) train-

While it isn't really that much of a difference, the R-62s on the (1) do have a somewhat different riding quality than the usual R-62As. In any case, it's all related to the R-62A SMS.

I bet when that (1) flew down that stretch between 145 and Dyckman, it was reminiscent of the (4) flying down the Lex stretch.

That's what I was also expecting, but unfortunately, the roadbed/track of the (1) line (along that particular stretch) seems to be in somewhat worse condition than the (4) line roadbed/track (on Lexington Avenue). The trains on the (1) between 145th and Dyckman Street rattle, bounce, sway, and make sparks from the third rail (isn't it called 'arcing' or something?) far worse than any other trains on any other line that I've been on.
